"Came in the door filling cracks and holes in wall when he was asked to give an estimate After Day 1, I went to get more paint as I was told that I needed more. After Day 2 I was told to take the paint back because I didn't need it. Shared photos showing some of the reasons why I was not satisfied. Previous paint showing in some areas, paint on my brand new floors, wall color on some of the trim, NONE of the wall repairs were sanded, just painted over. I asked him to take the pics into consideration when invoicing me. Instead he told of all the extra work he had to do. He didn't even complete the work that he was hired for sufficiently. If there was work that needed to be done OUTSIDE of the estimate, he should have called before doing anything. Then, he wanted to come back and "make it right". You had two days to do it right as you were hired to do and STILL CHARGED THE QUOTED PRICE"

"We are extremely pleased with the work Joe performed for us. He went beyond the extra mile to ensure the work was done correctly and professionally. Our main project was to install a portable air conditioner in a room with a casement window. We thought we would have to replace the window with a full-sized traditional window. Joe saved us an incredible amount of money by suggesting, and installing, a much-less-expensive option that works just fine. Furthermore, Joe readily agreed to another project and built a new picnic table bench to replace our dilapidated one and shored up our other bench. Joe patiently listened to our concerns, asked pertinent questions, and met our needs. He was always timely and personable. We look forward to working with Red Beard Capital, LLC again!"

FAQs for pool enclosure repair projects in Dayton, OH

An individual pool screen repair makes sense when someone accidentally tore the fabric of a single screen or a certain section has mold or mildew. If you need to repair a large number of your pool screens, however, it could be a more cost-effective solution to consider completely rescreening the whole pool enclosure all at once.

A pool lanai is similar to a pool enclosure, except it is considered an extension of a house. It sits under an existing truss roof rather than a separate shelter. Homeowners often outfit pool lanais with furniture, home décor, and other additions like audio-visual systems. A small lanai costs as little as $1,000 for materials and labor. Most lanais stay under $3,000 on the high end, but intricate layouts or large extensions can cost more in labor and materials.

Pool screens have varying lifespans based on their construction. Fiberglass screens last from 10 to 15 years, aluminum screens last from 15 to 20 years, polyester screens perform reliably for 20 to 30 years, and stainless steel screens offer durability for 30 years or more. Regular inspections and proper installation ensure these screens perform to their full lifespan.

You should regularly clean your pool screens to ensure they are effective and long-lasting. In a bucket, combine warm water with dish soap or cleaning vinegar. Then lightly scrub the screen with a soft-bristle brush or large sponge using your bucket mixture. After scrubbing, you can rinse the screens with a garden hose and let the screens dry in the sun. If you would prefer, you can hire a local window cleaning service to maintain your pool screens.
