"This regards a huge repair job after a pipe burst in our rental condo. It did happen a couple of years ago (December 2014) but it remains in my memory as a truly positive experience. The water destroyed the drywall in several rooms. We contacted Gary through Home Asvisor Handyman for the repairs. He contacted us soon after. When he arrived little did he know we actually had several projects that we needed done so we could sell the condo. Gary listened to our needs and then organized how the projects would be completed. The projects included the drywall repair for the living room, dining room, repair of the pipe that burst, added an access door to the plumbing area where the busted pipe occurred, installed tile flooring in the kitchen, replaced all the cabinets in the kitchen, installed a new kitchen light fixture, organized the replacement of the counter tops, reorganized the kitchen plan so the refrigerator and stove were not side by side, installed a new kitchen faucet and fixed the faucet after a couple of weeks when the interior piece was found to be defective, remodeled th entire bathroom tiling on the floor and walls, installed a new tub and fixtures, replaced the entry door and screen door, replaced all the interior doors, painted the entire place, fixed a longstanding problem for two side by side 8 foot windows by removing them and repairing the woodwork as well as refininshing the walls afterwards (in the middle of winter!--impressive). He helped us make decisions and worked with whatever selections we made in such a timely manner. He was in contact with us throughout the projects and provided us all the receipts, estimates, and final costs for each project that he undertook. He even would send picures as the projects progressed or were completed. He was so easy to work with and we appreciated him and hos work immensely! "The Doctor Flue team came out to my place right on time (actually, early!) and called ahead with their ETA. They were respectful of my home, great to work with, and did a fantastic job checking my chimney and gas fireplace to make sure it was safe and in working order. They "reset" the hearth, added the necessary materials, climbed a 30 foot ladder in 20 degree weather to check my chimney and provided a very detailed after-action report along with photos to give to my HOA for repairs. Cannot recommend them enough, all around a very positive experience."

Their attention to detail was astounding from the careful attention they took protecting our home from dust to making sure every surface of our walls were perfectly smooth and all corners perfectly straight. Their painting crew worked very fast and the results were also wonderful leaving not a trace of paint on our original wood trimwork. Our 100 year old popcorn textured walls full of cracks are now smooth and look like they're part of a high-end new build and there is not a trace of repair work in the other rooms where we had lighting fixtures and security system equipment removed. Every person on his crew is also incredibly kind. I couldn't ask for a nicer or more professional group of people to have working on my house."

"The car arrived in pristine condition and on time. The driver was professional and friendly. My only concern was lack of communication once the car left the dealership. The dealership called me to tell me the car was picked up and then I heard nothing until a knock on the door from the driver of the transport truck. "he and one on his workers came on Wednesday and put 4 of the 7 doors in and completed the job on that Saturday. They were very professional and did not leave anything for us to clean up at all. He was very picky about the how the doors were hung and made sure that they were hung right and closed without problems. <br />"

"The work required two days. The crew was on time both days. The crew was courteous, and kept us informed on what was to happen at each step of the work. The crew cleaned up as the work progressed, there was nothing we had to do, when they left at the end of each day. One repair required removing some ceramic tile in the upstairs bathroom, the work was done and the tile reinstalled. The downstairs drywall was repaired and repainted so well, you cannot tell anything had even happened at all. The rain damage to the downstairs drywall was traced to bad caulking around a window and the window caulking was properly redone. The downstairs vanity was loose and shaking, not anymore, a like new tightness now exists. Both bathrooms had the safety rails installed, even with the ceramic tiles in the upstairs bathroom, there was no cracks in the tile and the rails are very secure and has added years to the time we will be able to stay in this house. We have used Jacob's Ladder before, this is the second time and it will not be the last time either! Excellent company, excellent people."

"James showed up when he said he would. He fixed everything I asked him to fix, and he did it for a reasonable price. He was at my house for about 2 and a half hours, and charged $225 for everything I had him do. He cleaned up after himself, and all of the repairs were done well."
