"The job went very well and looked better than I imagined. I had a traditional pressure treated deck that was built 25 years ago. Maintenance was a nightmare to the point I stained the deck a solid color. This needed to be freshened up every couple of years. I tired of doing this chore so I contacted several contractors. Those contacted were not very enthusiastic and submitted extremely high bids without explaining exactly what materials they were using or a plan of attack. Brian of Carls Decking came with samples, brochures and a no nonsense explanation of what needed to be done to put me” in my happy place.” Brian inspected the frame and found it to still be level and in good shape. He suggested a total rip off of the planks and replacement of steps deck boards and railings. He even obtained the railing permit and made sure final inspection was handled. Pricing to do this type of renovation is not cheap but the final result was worth every penny! The crew that Brian sent over did an amazing job! The premises was cleaned up everyday when they left and all work was done in a very professional manner. I recommend Carl’s Decking very highly."

Sometimes all it takes is a response for your work needed request, with that being said Veterans Construction was not only the quickest to respond they were the only one to respond! Guess my 12x16 deck in Composite material wasn't a big enough job for any others? After first call from Veterans Construction which was shortly after my request was made. Mike came out the next morning like he said he would; to go over the ideas I had for my deck. He put together some plans and drew them up and had them along with plans and pictures e-mailed to me in the time frame he gave me. Well, we agreed on price, plans and time frames. After sleeping on it for a night I called Mike the next morning with some hesitation due to wanting to change my plans on deck design some. "Stump's is a great company to work with and they built us a beautiful composite deck onto the back of our house. Their price was in line with other composite decking quotes we received but their customer service was far above any other contractor. They were responsive, helpful and professional throughout the entire process. While there was one issue with our lawn that occurred during the deck build, Stump's went above and beyond to remedy the issue and make sure we were happy at the end of the project.
