"Bob was extremely punctual and went above and beyond in the repair of my garage door spring. <br /> In fact he came out the same day and fixed it temporarily so we could continue using it while he waited for the new spring to come in. He made two service trips for this repair and did not charge for the initial repair or visit. <br /> 10 years ago the same spring broke and I hired a National Company from the yellow pages. They charged me nearly 4 times what Bob quoted and charged for the same service. <br /> I HIGHLY recommend Bob to you and to anyone you know needing garage door repairs. I know that I will not call anyone else should I need future service. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Scott Jelinek <br />"

"The serviceman was very understanding with my work schedule and had to wait a little while for me to arrive. He was gracious about my tardiness. We had been told by a competitor that it would cost $165 to replace the same part or we could replace the entire unit. Overhead Door replaced the same part for $103 including tax and labor. He said was definitely not necessary to replace the unit. I was very pleased with the entire experience and will use this company again. <br />"

"After leaving a message he returned my call promptly and came by to look at the fans we needed installed as well as the doors we needed to be hung. He worked with us on both even when we had to return the fans twice due to incorrect down rod size. He finished all the fans and doors within 3 days of the initial call and was extremely personable as well. I will hire him again and soon!"

"Overall the experience was very positive. The company was able to make the service call within a couple days. They offered an excellent discount on their website, and the resulting price was reasonable. The serviceman was very professional and personable. There was no attempt to recommend unnecessary services. The garage door opener now performs better than when it was first installed."

FAQs for garage door installation and replacement projects in Denton, NE

Yes, you can replace just one panel if your door is sectional and the damaged panel is available. Most modern residential garage doors have four to six horizontal panels that can be individually replaced. However, finding an exact match becomes challenging for older doors or discontinued styles. For doors over 15 to 20 years old or with multiple damaged panels, a complete door replacement might be more practical and visually consistent.

Minor dents or cosmetic damage can often be repaired without replacing the entire panel, potentially saving you money. However, if the damage affects the door's operation, security, or structural integrity, replacement is often a better investment.

For extensive damage to multiple panels or older doors where matching is difficult, full door replacement might be more economical in the long run than multiple individual panel replacements.

Your garage door panel might be repairable if the damage is superficial and doesn't affect functionality. Small dents in aluminum panels, minor scratches, or cosmetic issues often don't require full replacement. However, replacement is often necessary if the panel is warped, has large holes, shows extensive rust, or affects how the door operates. A professional garage door technician can evaluate the damage and recommend whether repair or replacement offers the best value and durability.
