"We recently bought a  home that had been vacant for years.  We noticed water coming up in the basement, and used our own auger to try and clear the sewer line.   The cable got stuck in the sewer line.  I called Tischbein to see if they could do a video of the line to see what it was stuck on, fearing the entire thing had collapsed as there are 3 large, old trees in the front yard. They came out and did video of the line which revealed a TON of roots, but no damage.  They got the stuck cable out and used 3 different sized cables/cutters to get the roots cleared.  They had everything they needed to get the job done.  I called several other companies before deciding on Tischbein, and the fact that they specialize in sewer issues, not general plumbing made all the difference.  My only complaint is that I was given a $25 Angie's list discount, not the 10% discount advertised. <br />"

"There was water backing up (draining extremely slowly) from a drain in my basement. Another company had tried unsuccessfully to clear it out. They said it probably was tree roots, but they could not get a camera far enough to find out for certain. They told me that they would have to tear up my front yard and maybe my fence, and probably have a big tree cut down, in order to get their equipment in to do the job. I had heard about CME from a couple of sources and called them. They told me that they would try cleaning out the pipe first and what it would cost, then see what else was needed. As it turned out, there was only some soft matter in the pipe, and no roots, and they were able to flush it out easily. The pipes were intact and didn't need lining. The whole process took only about an hour, as I recall. This was two years ago, and I have had no problems since. I felt it was money well spent, and it certainly relieved me that I did not have to have my yard torn up or spend much more money having a tree cut down."

"The contractors were very friendly and always on time.  Communication from the main office was excellent.  They were up front about price and were committed to doing a quality job.  They showed us where shoddy work had been done previously, and allowed us to inspect the repair they had done before closing the hole back up.  The workmen were very clean and respectful.  My only minor complaint is that they washed out the concrete buckets near our fence and driveway, leaving concrete residue partially staining our fence and driveway.  However, when my wife called and complained, they came out and scrubbed it away.  Overall, a really professional outfit and I would definitely hire them again. <br />"

"Main line backed up during a load of laundry late Friday. Called on Saturday afternoon and they were out late morning on Monday (New Years eve). Ran a camera and found 2 blocks caused by roots. Cleared both spots then ran camera again to inspect all the way to main sewer line. They replaced the clean out cap and cleaned the floor when they were done. Brennan and Chris were the crew and I would use them again."
