"Last year when we moved into our present house we discovered we would need a new A/C. Coombs had the best price and were the most professional of all we called. He came out and looked at our old unit and told us (just as 3 others had told us) that we would need to replace this unit soon. But unlike all the others who, wouldn't even do anything to the unit, Coombs serviced it and we got another year of use out of it. So when we got ready to replace the unit this year we again called Coombs. My husband ordered the same unit we had talked about last year but at a lower price. How many appliance people do you know that actually gives you a better price than he quoted a year ago. BRAVO! Coombs. The techs came out and worked steady from about 9AM until after 7PM to get our unit installed in one day. The young men were very professional and polite. The unit was installed and we were sleeping in cool air that night. This morning I went on Angie's List to find a washing machine repair service. I was very happy to see Coombs listed. "They are good. At one point there was an incident that happened and it really upset me. They came the day I needed them to come. I have an ongoing relationship with this company. This is not my first time I had dealt with them, and we?d had some other things, it took me some time. They worked it out so, I don?t want to be critical or anything. (Don?t put this in there please, it?s like they come out to look at something and I asked them if they manufactured something called a mask, which is a metal piece that goes up over my electrical server. The man picked it up and he took it to his company, he was the owner, and I guess he laid it on his desk and then forgot about it. Well, eventually, they threw it away. After I went back several times and called and called and wasn?t able to get ahold of him, this went on for over a year, and I was like okay. Finally, my son went and I was finally able to get ahold of somebody and talk to him again and he realized what had happened and finally, it did take them time, but finally they did make me a new one and they did actually charge me for since I?d been without one for a while. I said over a year, but they picked it up in late Fall of last year, maybe say September/October because it was right after a tree fell on our house in July or end of June. I know they picked it up in that time frame because they came out to look at one of our other A/C units. Then it took them, well, I ain?t had it back that long. They came and put it up and didn?t charge me for it, so I really appreciate the fact that they didn?t charge me I just didn?t like the fact that I had to do without for so long, but in the long run it worked out to my benefit so patience is a virtue as they say). "This was handled through my homeowner's insurance warranty. The insurance company told me who I had to use for this service. They were supposed to come out a second time to replace one of my burners but never came back. They have to come back to replace the burner but have not come as of this date."
