"After a spring hail storm damged my roof-I needed a new one. I got 3 estimates, with Ireland being the best and Tom being the most professional salesman. The job was delayed because of other issues and Ireland was very understnding, and willing to work with me, I am very happy with the entire project. Love the look of my new roof. Thanks Tom for all of your assistance."

"Absolutely the best. Our floors had a lot of old pet and water stains. They were so knowledgeable about wood. Always on time and gave us an accurate timeline. Professional and very hardworking. Left things immaculate. And the floors are gorgeous"

"Sipes and Son did brick pointing and sealing near my front stoop and garage; installed a metal pipe column to support a ceiling/floor; and removed and replaced drywall in a ceiling so floor joists could be inspected. The price was not inexpensive, but I hired Sipes and Son because they have been in business for decades, and they have very good online reviews. All of the workers who came to my house were very courteous and performed their jobs well."

"We were extremely happy with the service, installation and quality provided by Pella of McMurray. We dealt with Rob Culbertson. Rob was superb to deal with in many aspects. I highly recommend selecting Rob to handle your needs. The installers were professional, respectful and diligent. They worked hard under cold conditions. They were cognizant of their cleanliness too and swept up frequently. The fiberglass windows and doors look great and I examined them thoroughly. My neighbors have been complimentary too. Try Rob Culbertson and Pella of McMurray for your needs."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Donora, PA

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
