"The best! Keith, Hank, Michael and Grant were a pleasure to work with over the course of several months last year. I have dealt with many contractors, both personally and professionally, and I can tell you that they should be your first call on any project. The work was done on time and on budget. We added some things to the project, but in no way did they push us to add a single additional item. In fact, we added a complete rebuild of the deck after the project had begun and there was no premium on the additional cost as compared to other contractors who know they have a captive audience. They were present at the property nearly every single day of the project, including Saturdays, as opposed to other contractors who simply give the work to subcontractors and check in once or twice a week, at best. In other words, they know what is going on at all times and are able to give guidance and direction to the subs, and us, on site. They are also more than willing to listen and make any adjustments without crushing you with additional costs! And, they actually work and work hard (especially through the brutal, brutal summer heat last year when we lost our air conditioning for a couple of weeks). I have known Keith and the crew for many years and there is nobody else I would trust to complete such an extensive project which included: completely new roof, all new siding, replacement of every single window in the house (which Keith, Hank, Michael and Grant) did personally, new addition (which included replacement of primary first floor structural beam), new primary bath and primary closets, new flooring, whole house painting including ceilings and more. Lastly, they don’t bite off more than they can chew which sets them so far apart from every contractor we have ever dealt with. Personal touch, presence, attentiveness and excellent workmanship. "My parents and I live in a old brick apartment building in Hoboken that is from the 1880s. The bathroom in our apartment had not been updated since the 1940s. We needed help ASAP. We checked out Cesar s page and wanted to hire him immediately. The reviews speak for themselves. When he came into our apartment to give us a quote we knew that this was contractor we needed to get the job done. Cesar is affordable, friendly, and very accommodating to any issues or concerns you have before starting the project. Two massive issues with our project were that my dad has spinal & walking issues, so we needed the floors clear of all tools and materials at the end of the each day so that father could walk efficiently through the apartment. The other big issue was that we only have 1 bathroom, so Cesar agreed to work with us on pulling the toilet off and on as every day finished so that we did not have to leave our building to use the toilet. Him and his crew are the best and take pride in their work so that owner is happy with the final result. We brought the bathroom down to the bare bones and rebuilt it back up. I worked with him every step of the way to make sure that he needed all materials to get the job done in the time we needed. This project was an intense remodel with some of the hardest demo and substrate materials that an old bathroom can have. He didn t think anything of it. He has veteran experience in the field and this remodel only took 3 weeks. We are very impressed with Cesar s craftsmanship and professionalism and we will be hiring him again for any future interior projects."

The team started right away after hiring. We knew there may be surprises along the way, considering there was rot. "We live in a prewar coop building in Manhattan and were in need of a kitchen, living and dining room/den renovation. Because of the limitations in our building, we were not optimistic that many changes could be made that would dramatically alter the feel/function of the space. Inson Wood proved us completely wrong. With his architectural eye and his impeccable design aesthetic we (and everyone who has been here before and after) experiences our apartment as an entirely different living space. Even family members are shocked at the transformation. I think that what Inson accomplished was the product of a few significant factors. First, Inson asks you what you want and seriously considers how you live. If Inson thinks that different approaches should be considered for what you want, he provides renderings of each option so that you can easily visualize and imagine them. Ultimately, Inson respects your preferences and works with them, elevating them to a level far above what you had imagined. Inson uses the highest quality vendors (whom we NEVER would have found) and expertly guides you through choices (note: follow his recommendations!!!)- our walls would never have had dimension and our kitchen backsplash never have been so unique (two examples) if not for the artisans that Inson uses. Inson is also willing to have you be as much or as little involved in the process as you want to be. I did go with Inson to choose many pieces of furniture but realized after a certain point that his taste point made me confident in him choosing much finishing work (ex: window treatments, decorative cushions, which I love) without me. As with all design work, there are always glitches and Inson was extremely responsive and responsible for taking care of those as they came up. We are nothing less than thrilled to come home each evening and enjoy our space, which feels like a luxurious retreat perfectly tailored to us."

"We hired Ernest and Sons to construct our patio tiles. We purchased 2' X 2' Tiles and I have to say they did a gorgeous job. I was so pleased with the way they showed up when they said they would. The men that laid out on my job worked so hard. The labor was very strenuous but they never took a break. They were the most conscientious and polite workers I've ever dealt with. They worked neatly, cleaned up totally afterward, and just had a great deal of respect for our property. They really did a beautiful job and Ernest, the owner is a real gentleman also. "I have a block foundation with hairline cracks, and I was referred from a colleague who had used this company previously, Eddy sent out a specialist who Explained I was experiencing hydrostatic pressure around the perimeter of my home And gave me several different options to remediate the issue with respect to my budget. I chose to have the cracks patched from the interior as well as have a perimeter drain installed. moisture readings were taken, and the sump pump was also inspected for precautionary measures."
