"A neighbor had some work done by 7th State and I watched their progress, so I asked the neighbor for their contact. I had a small porch replaced by a screened porch. The original porch was wood and starting to dry rot, and was slippery in rain and snow. I met with Anthony in February for an estimate and to tell him what I wanted. The County permit process and requirements for improvement went on until September -- an 8 month wait. They required me to plant trees and shrubbery simply to replace something already there, OR pay a fee to not plant trees and shrubbery. Ashley in the office helped me through this and kept me advised of the progress toward getting it started. Work began on September 10, ended mid October. Each step had to be approved by the permit office. The workmanship and finished product are outstanding. Neighbors have complimented me on the improvement. Some workers worked up until 7:00pm to finish their part of the project. I would recommend this contractor to anybody."

"Jared provided an estimate and then applied for all required permits. He kept us informed of progress and scheduled work. He did a great job. The owner Steve worked on the job and did a great job evening out and making sure all steps were the same. They were punctual and professional. They used extra barb wire to strengthen concrete. They used plywood to protect our lawn as wheelbarrows of concrete were moved. Cleanup was great - no mess. Rail looks great. Katie in office also did great follow up and kept us informed. Just a very positive experience. Would recommend All Ready Finished (did I mention they were fast?) for any concrete job."

"We had a patio installed in our backyard. We met Bill from Sharper Cut at a home improvement show in Upper Marlboro. He was very professional from the beginning and scheduled a follow up meeting for us to come out and meet with him on that day. Before we had the meeting, he came out to the property to take pictures and see the layout. We had previously had a drawing which we sent him ahead of time. When we met with him, he had prepared several different options for a patio, including landscape. He listened intently to what we wanted and implemented it, including the seating wall, pillars and lights. He was very patient, showed the designs, modified them based on our questions and requests, and explained things very clearly. When there was a delay with a stone that we originally chose for the patio, he had us choose another stone to our liking, without making any adjustments to the price. The crew that did the work, showed up timely and were extremely professional. They would have been completed on time but got delayed because of rain storms that soaked the yard. However, as soon as it dried up they came out and finished the project. We are extremely pleased with the patio and all of our neighbors that come and see it, absolutely love it. I have recommended him to several of my neighbors and would encourage anyone looking for quality work to be done for them to consider Sharper Cut. They are awesome!!!!"

"Our experience was seem less and we are very happy with the workmanship. Can’t speak to the longevity of the product but Bright explained to us what to do to make the concrete as strong as possible as it cures. So we’re hopeful it will last for years to come. Their price was also very fair. I have recommended Bright to several neighbors and I will use them again for future construction needs."

"Contractor (Gene) was able to use my pictures and measurements to provide a firm quote for the job and informed me of the materials needed (and quantities).  He started promptly on the date and time given. Gene was very neat and took precautions to keep the work area and house neat...including taking his shoes off to come in (his partner had booties in his truck).  The kitchen counters were covered and all in house mess was contained.  Tile were cut using a wet table outside.  Gene had plastic under the table to catch any drips or debris in order to keep the ground clean.  All waste water and trash was removed by Gene as well (after observing this I did tell him to please use the utility sink as needed and our trash can for miscellaneous trash but was impressed that his plan was to take all trash and debris and not dispose of anything on site).  Tile was laid out well.  I was asked by Gene how I wanted the tile around the window apron done.  I did not have a good idea and deferred to his judgment.  He explained what he thought was the best option even though he needed some metal edging for the best look.  He called someone to have them get the edging needed.  After placing the tile he left and arranged the time to come back the next day to grout and caulk.  He showed up the second day as scheduled, laid out cardboard too protect the counters, and completed the work.  When done (both day 1 and day 2) all trash was removed, counters were wiped down, floor was wiped down, and all outside trash was removed.  Very good job and a very clean job.  I would pay any contractor an extra 2-4 hours of labor to start by getting things ready, taping off areas, prepping, etc., and then cleaning up everything when done and returning the place like it was found.  With Gene I did not have to mention it....that was how he worked.  Job was done perfectly for the agreed upon price.  No adder was made for the metal edging he had to call our for and have his team deliver.  I was very impressed by the work.  Several other contractors turned the job down due to its small size (just a backsplash).  From day 1 Gene said he would do it and treated it like any other job he had although it was minor.  Very impressed by his work, work ethic, and job cleanliness.  Would definitely use him again and would refer him for other work. <br />"

"Lou is personable and professional. Overall, it was as a good experience (in the context of experiences that I never wished to have). Here are some areas for improvement: - cleanliness: the crew covered furniture and used drop-cloths, but it was spotty and the use degraded over time. Basement shower was left with lots of junk that stained it. - attention to detail: the crew installed the black wall covering system in a sloppy manner instead of a tight fit. They also installed the sump hole covers with too tight a fit. - poor prep for put-together crew: the waterproofing crew cut erratic and uneven interior trenches instead of taking the time and using the tools to leave the concrete flush with a straight line of tile. This added $750 in extra cost to put the basement back together. Note that the crew brings in day labor to haul buckets of waste out of the house."

"I'm using this company for the third time now, because i know I am always gonna feel that the money was well spent. The concrete steps were patched and refinished. It now looks like new. The contractor was even able re-grout our old bathroom, and fix up our old front door which was rotting for years now. Definitely will use again."

"Dan and his staff did excellent work. Dan helped us through the material selection process. If we had questions about remodeling or material issues, he was prompt and helpful and courteous in responding to us. His staff was punctual and hard working in doing the remodeling work and we were very pleased with the end result. At the end of each work day, they completely cleaned up the area around each bathroom Dan and his staff completed one bathroom remodeling and we were so pleased with that, we had them follow up and do the remodeling of the second bathroom. What was especially pleasing to us was that even though both of our bathroom projects were relatively small, Dan always treated us well and respected that the jobs were important to us (the cost below is the total for the two bathrooms)"

I contacted Steve -- he came by on schedule for an initial estimate ... arranged for a follow up visit with Romo, his concrete contractor ... the final estimate was spot on the original rough estimate ... and was well within my own estimate of what the work would cost ...  They scheduled a time to start the job, and arrived when stated and finished the work within one day.  Steve was great to work with ... knowledgeable and experienced, as was Romo.  Earth Friendly services also sent out a quality inspector to examine the job after it was completed.   This is an excellent, well run family business.  I highly recommend them. <br />"
