Get matched with top brick or stone siding: repairers or partially replacers in Downers Grove, IL

"Henry & his crew did an outstanding job in tuckpointing and fixing what was an old (about 60 years) and extremely delapidated brick wall at the front of my house. Made it presentable and saved me from just having to demolish and replace it. He talked through various ideas and options with me and we ended up with something I'm very pleased with. Easy to contact and quick to reply at all times, communication was excellent."

"From start to finish the project went very well. Communication was great, Robert called several days in advance to let us know the work would start and kept us updated on the job progress. Absolutely no complaints about the workmanship, or clean up. Actually, I believe they had to do more brick repair then originally quoted; but Robert held to the original estimate, never asking for additional money. We would definitely hire them again and have recommended them to several neighbors."

"Olsen has twice replaced the mortar on our patio steps. The first time work was completed in less than two hours, which seemed quick considering the amount of steps and price charged. About 12 months later the mortar began to crack and fall out again. Olsen completed the second repair as part of their warranty on work completed. Update: Fast forward another year, and the mortar is cracking and falling out again. Upon further investigation it was determined the problem was with the original installation of steps five years earlier by builder. Given that the original cracking started to appear two years after installation by builder, Olsen should have known this was not a normal tuckpointing job since that is their business and expertise, especially when they had to come out and redo their work under a warranty guarantee. Ultimately had to have stones removed completely and installed again with different mortar and adhesive. Olsen did not do this work as their bid was 25% more than other bid I received. I would potentially hire Olsen again, but would do my own due diligence on the potential project and not rely on Olsen for figuring things out."

"Anthony and Brandon were excellent, extremely professional and knowledgeable! Anthony and Brandon repaired our chimney and installed a new damper and cap and beautiful new logs in under 2 hours! Both men were very friendly and answered all our questions. We couldn't be more excited about our new fireplace and cannot wait to show it off! We highly recommend A-1 Safety Chimney Service and Anthony and Brandon, they exceeded our expectations and we couldn't be happier!! Thank you Anthony and Brandon and A-1 Safety!!!"

"i had jorge come in to reinstill some drywall and lay down some flooring - both tile and vinyl - that had to be replaced due to water damage. He was responsive, thorough and did really good work in a quick amount of time. I would definitely use him again."

"Great job. Put in a lot of hard work at a good price. Repaired brickwork on my fireplace chimney, which is tough to reach. They worked and set up safely , which is important when working up high. Excellent job of matching brick colors. Completed work in one day and cleaned up well when done. Would definitely recommend and encourage people to give them a try"

"They were very courteous, completed the job on schedule without any issues. We had an old chimney that needed to be replaced and they went out of their way to match the old brick color. Highly recommended."

"I worked with Dan of Zandstra Masonry on a brick mailbox project and he was professional throughout the entire project. The work was outstanding and most of our neighbors are considering doing the same thing. Fairly priced and completed within promised time frame. There was some confusion on payment terms, but Dan resolved it immediately. High integrity! Would use again for any masonry project."
