"Superior Chimney came to our house next day after water was coming into our fireplace down the chimney. Came and gave a free quote which was extremely well communicated and provided pictures to show the issues we were having. We needed to replace our caps as well as new waterproofing on our chase cover. Repairs were able to be completed immediately. Extremely happy with the service and felt cost was very fair. Would recommend for service"

"Well enough. Called well before arrival, and again shortly before. Arrived in the designated time slot. They took a picture of the inside of the chimney, and said it needed power cleaning, which would cost another $400. The picture was convincing. Also, I had on one occasion heard the sound of a chimney fire (a sound with which I am familiar) late last season, so I knew there might be burned-on soot. They got the chimney very clean (another photo) and did the job quickly. I do think the additional cost was somewhat excessive, as all that the additional work required was a 1/4 hp electric drill and a different set of rods and brushes. I assume some neglected chimneys require a lot more time, and that the price is determined on the maximum amount of time likely to be required. This is a reasonable practice, but I would appreciate it if they would mention the possibility and cost in advance. While we may hire them again, I will also continue to investigate other contractors for this work."

A special order for the limestone caps required a couple of weeks and the company lived up to their commitment of contacting upon arrival to schedule installation. The tuckpointing was needed on the 45 year old home and the installation of the stair caps had fixed and enhanced the stairwell."

Sol is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions, and I felt very comfortable with going ahead to have his company install a chimney liner. "Went with Kerry roofing to replace the leaking roof and leaking chimney on my mom's house. The chimney repair went great. They redid the entire top, installed a new liner, and tuck-pointed a good portion of the wall on the house around the chimney which was in also in need of repair. No more leaking chimney! The roof didn't go quite as well as the chimney work. The actual work was done on schedule but there were issues with it after they were done. But Tony was more than happy to get things fixed. Twice I called about somethings I saw that didn't look right and he was able to answer my questions (I'm not a roofing expert, was just comparing to other roofs) and then had a guy out to fix things when he determined that yes it wasn't done right. I realize this was a complicated roof, with many steep gables, but would expect an established roofing company to be able to handle the job, so was a bit disappointed there. But I appreciate that Tony is always a phone call away and able to answer my questions and send someone out if needed. They stand by their work."
