"ECC installed a new condenser and coil. Tony, who is one of the owners, did the job himself with two assistants. He was very personable, respectful, and thorough in his explanation of the work. The work was done in a timely and efficient manner, the work zone was left in clean condition and the installation itself appears to be very neat and professional. My strong impression is that Tony and his co-owner, Ed, are two highly experienced and professional craftsmen in this business who take pride in their work and I appreciated having the actual owners, not salesmen and crews, developing the proposal and performing the installation. The entire experience, beginning with Lisa at the office, Ed, who developed the proposal, and finally with Tony and his team, was excellent and I will certainly hope to engage them for future HVAC needs."

"Our central A/C broke and a repairman from the company we purchased it from 15 years prior told us we needed a new compressor. I put the project on Anji to get a few quotes for replacement, and rec'd a call minutes later. We set up an appointment set up for the next morning. Frank came and looked at our system, we told him what the other repair person had said, Frank (the owner of Old Skool ) did a more thorough look at the entire system, and within 45 minutes realized the problem was with one wire on the outside of the unit in our attic and not the compressor outside. He replaced the wire, and instead of a two to four thousand dollar replacement, it cost us a couple of hundred bucks. (The quote visit turned into the repair visit.) It's really easy to see that Frank is an expert and knows his stuff inside and out. He made a recommendation for a fix to prevent the issue from happening again. We're definitely going to use old skool going forward for all of our HVAC maintenance and repair. Frank was friendly, covid-19 safe, and he had the ability to break down the problems in laymen's terms."

He didn't mind one but answering all of my questions, and allowing to watch and learn as he work. I would recommend him any day, and will ask for him when calling for future servicing. My scheduling of the appointment was very professional and left me feeling at ease in a stressful time. The text messaging system that provide the customer with a quick picture, and quick bio of the technician is awesome. "Sales rep measured rooms and windows to perform a load cal'n. Proposed a quality Carrier system at a reasonable price. The installation took a little longer than expected due to use of an inexperienced helper, but eventually it appeared to be a quality installation. They met my requests for minor modifications/enhancements to allow easier maintenance. Workers wore masks at all times, used drop cloths along walking paths and shoe covers, so the job was kept clean. Took time to explain system, installation and maintenance points. Were honest about risk of condensate pipe freeze-up and potential remedies, and "orphaned" water heater. Overall, quite satisfied with the equipment and installation. Awaiting finalization of punch list paperwork items."

He went over the details and the annual maintenance plan in detail and also checked all the vents while he was there.
