The insides are designed with interior spaces to exactly hold our stereo equipment, CDs, movies and games. Philip worked with me and did multiple test samples to get the exact custom finish I wanted for my vanities. He made several excellent suggestions on improving the overall design. "We were leery of even seeking bids from a custom cabinet shop because of cost concerns, but we did so at the suggestion of our contractor. We were very pleasantly surprised to discover that Rich and Mike's could match a bid we had received for modular cabinets whose design would have forced us to reduce the number of drawers from nine to 3 in one of the baths and were unattractive in a number of other ways as well. Mike came down to measure and discuss our preferences, including our wishes for a finish stain. When we received the first set of working drawings, we changed our mind about a couple of features, emailed Mike to that effect, and within a day or two received a completely new set of drawings. The cabinets were delivered on schedule and installed by Jeff, whose experience, competence and friendliness were plainly evident. Put simply, we were bowled over by the craftsmanship and beautiful finish of our cabinets. Incidentally, we found no difficulty whatsoever with a shop outside of the immediate Sacramento area."

"Excellent! I have redone five houses in California & Nevada and was so pleased with the work done by Ray the cabinet maker. A perfectionist in his work and a courteous person - it was such a pleasure to work with his company and I receive many compliments from whoever sees the kitchen. The living room and kitchen are open to one another and the view between rooms is wonderful. The cost may seem high (but it's not), but it included roll-out shelves on lower drawers, creating four drawers out of two, a new cabinet which houses the microwave and new oven, a new cabinet of drawers where the oven had been, built-in rolling wastebaskets, new crown moulding, new kick bases and repair of the bad facing on the existing cabinets. "My new kitchen, built by Scott, is absolutely beautiful. I love it! Scott is a master at his craft. He is easy to work with and he does it all. In addition to the kitchen cabinets, he's a good electrician. He replaced the lights in the kitchen and family room with LED lights. He also tracked down and fixed a short in my house wiring in the wall in the den, and he repaired the dry wall that he had to remove to find the bad wiring. I would not hesitate to hire Scott again. When you find a company with the Customer Service level I received by Amy, that is the company you will definitely do repeat business. The quality of Cabinets is great, but when you have the Customer Service support, like Amy, that’s a BONUS. I highly recommend Cabinets for everyones’s cabinet needs."

"Overpriced/poor quality/poor customer service. Did not go well. Would not recommend. Got a total of five bids, and these guys were the most expensive. Decided to go with them anyway because they were able to do the carpentry (dry rot repair) and the exterior paint job without subbing anything out, and because they took their time with the estimate, put on a professional front, spoke good english, and had a good reputation. My bad. The owners of the company handed the work of to other contractors, and left me to deal with all the problems, telling me that the contractors (which spoke poor english) were their "front" and that I should deal with them. Their carpenters damaged my rain gutters and roof, and denied that they had done anything even though I had before and after photos. Took weeks to resolve, and my gutters still don't look right. Pretty much the same story with the painters. They barely did any prep work, didn't follow any of the instructions that I had given the company owners at job start, and did sloppy low quality work. I spent several days fixing their slop. Lastly, they are WAY overpriced. Stay clear unless you like over paying for frustration. Just go with the low bid and save a few bucks."
