"Mr, Murillo and his worker did a good job and left the area clean. They relocated the irrigation valve which was very close to the side of the house and installed a box in the ground to store the standard irrigation wire.They also poisoned a tree stump. Mr. Murillo was very helpful in answering any questions you might have had. I appreciated the work they did."

"First of all, the job appears to have been done well. I say appears because we were not home when they did the job. I gave specific dates that we would be available but instead they emailed me several days before the chosen dates (which I did not get until after the fact) to say they were on their way to my house (we were out of town). I was a bit put off that they did the job with no one at home and without my approval. There was a bit of a mess left behind but the gutters run clean now. We needed a heavy rain before I could tell."

They ripped out 3 tree stumps, removed my river rock, laid new irrigation, installed a new sprinkler controller, laid new sod, laid turf, repaired my concrete that was lifted by tree roots, built a pergola. Jaime was very friendly, knowledgeable, hard working, and honest. He kept me updated every step of the way and I was never caught off guard. "First off the angies list coupone I used was expired but they still honored it, for that I'm grateful. However, over a month's time I had four different appointments that they fell through on. Only two of them did they even bother to call and tell me they weren't able to come. Do you know how much time I wasted waiting for a plumber that never showed up 4 times! one of the times they were very apologetic and sounded like they had some sort of emergency which I understand, I'm not completely unreasonable, but 4 times! The phone number listed also seemed to have their voice mail box constantly full so I couldn't leave messages and it seemed like the other times I was always talking to someone different, are there different sub companies and all star is the parent company? it left me very confused. In the phone call I said it was my solar water heater on my roof which was leaking yet he didn't bring a ladder to the job? He borrowed my ladder and went up on to the roof (have to give him credit there, it is a scary roof) and fixed the job for about  250 more dollars. He did give me a 10% discount when I mentioned all of the inconveniences. Still 25$ to compensate for four jobs not shown up to? I work night shift too so every one of those jobs was the equivalent of you waking up at 2 in the morning to wait for someone that never shows up.
