"Salvador and his team were great, they were very friendly and worked **** ** the projects. They removed our old grass, weeds, and pulled tons of old tree roots out, leveled the dirt, and added more dirt to the front end to make our lawn more flat and even. They also installed a short retaining wall and a new fence with gate.... the main guy doing the wall took lots of care while placing each block for our wall. They installed a new sprinkler and drip system, planted two trees that we purchased and rolled out great new sod. They laid pavers for a nice new porch along with a matching barrier wall at the end of our porch. Salvador was there every day working along side his guys and they cleaned up after every day. He also stopped by to check on the grass just a few days later and programmed our sprinkler system.... and he offered to come back to do our first mow and adjust the sprinkler system! They did a fantastic job, very happy. Thank you Salvador!"

"I highly recommend Jaime and his team. They took on my back yard project (entire remodel) and knocked it out of the park! They ripped out 3 tree stumps, removed my river rock, laid new irrigation, installed a new sprinkler controller, laid new sod, laid turf, repaired my concrete that was lifted by tree roots, built a pergola. "The team from 5 Star Gardening was great. They did a wonderful job with the yard clean-up, and the planting of a new hedge, lawn and drought tolerant ground cover. They also did a great job putting down weed cloth, refreshing the bark and bringing in stone to one large area of the property. They also checked the drip system and did some repair of a leak in the main drip line. Overall excellent job."

"Frog Hollow is an expert in their field, not only for plant selection and design, but also irrigation and water control. We hired them to evaluate and recommend improvements to our existing landscape. We'd recently updated and in the course of 2 years lost half of the plants. Frog Hollow immediately identified the irrigation inadequacies, upgraded our system, installed plants better suited for the zone and weather. Moving forward we use their service for monthly inspections and adjustments. Extremely satisfied!"

"First off the angies list coupone I used was expired but they still honored it, for that I'm grateful. However, over a month's time I had four different appointments that they fell through on. Only two of them did they even bother to call and tell me they weren't able to come. Do you know how much time I wasted waiting for a plumber that never showed up 4 times! one of the times they were very apologetic and sounded like they had some sort of emergency which I understand, I'm not completely unreasonable, but 4 times! The phone number listed also seemed to have their voice mail box constantly full so I couldn't leave messages and it seemed like the other times I was always talking to someone different, are there different sub companies and all star is the parent company? it left me very confused. In the phone call I said it was my solar water heater on my roof which was leaking yet he didn't bring a ladder to the job? He borrowed my ladder and went up on to the roof (have to give him credit there, it is a scary roof) and fixed the job for about  250 more dollars. He did give me a 10% discount when I mentioned all of the inconveniences. Still 25$ to compensate for four jobs not shown up to? I work night shift too so every one of those jobs was the equivalent of you waking up at 2 in the morning to wait for someone that never shows up.
