Having a deck built by R J Fisher Construction Co. was our first experience in dealing with contractors, and we were very satisfied. Unlike a contractor we hired who just abandoned a current concrete project and taken our money and run, we were lucky with our choice in Rick Fisher.
Rick was prompt, always answered the phone or returned our calls/texts immediately. Rick and his crew were friendly, professional, efficient, and eager to build our deck to the most perfect standards.
We would often ask for his expertise and insight on colors, style, etc., and we learned we could trust and count on him for good input. We watched most of the time as the deck was being built. The crew took utmost care with every piece of material down to the proper nails. Rick would often stop by to assess the crews' work. We felt comfortable with them on our property at any time even when we were not home. They did an excellent job of cleaning up upon completion of the job.

These are all qualities that were consistently adhered to when working with Russell and his team at Total Renovations, LLC. Having never gone through a home renovation process, we were a little bit skeptical as to which company we wanted to hire to undertake the task of transforming a two-story living room area in our home into a space which converted the upper portion into an additional bedroom. After an extensive search, we found Total Renovations , LLC and its owner, Russell. From day one, which was actually a few months before we hired him and his team, Russell was extremely pleasant to work with. I called and informed him of the task we were wanting to have completed, as well as the fact that we were new to this experience. He was very patient in explaining the entire process from start to finish. Once we had a signed contract between ourselves and Total Renovations, LLC, Russell took it from there. Whether it was obtaining architectural drawing designs, permits from the county, or the construction and clean up of the project, Russell and his team took care of every step along the way. They are very punctual, as they show up on time, every time. And I mean EVERY TIME. Additionally, his crew made sure to do an excellent job cleaning up after each day of work. This was truly appreciated as we have a young child and a dog living in the house as it was being remodeled. In this market and with inflation being what it is, we all know that some companies may try to stiff their customers by engaging in price gouging here and there. That was not at all the case with Total Renovations, LLC. The price that they quoted us and signed for was what was adhered to. If anything came up in the project where a particular aspect needed to be changed or corrected based off of the initial assessment, Russell always made sure to reach out to us immediately to explain the reason as to why, as well as obtain permission to proceed. That particular point was extremely reassuring, whereas some other companies may just add extra work to your project without notifying you and then hit you with an inflated bill at the end. At no point in time did Russell ever try to oversell me on any aspect of the project, nor did he brush aside any issue that other companies may feel to be trivial. If we had a question or a concern, Russell had an answer or a solution. Russell and his team were able to take a vision that we had in our heads for our open space, and literally turn it into a reality. Additionally, we were able to add in some recessed lighting and ceiling fans along the way. The attention to detail that his crew invested into our project was above and beyond even our own expectations. It truly feels like we are living in a new house. "This is our second time working with Kevin and he is absolutely fantastic to work with. During Covid he built us a 2 car detached garage and we had such a great experience that when we decided to finish our basement we didn't call anyone else. Kevin met with us and provided us a quote to finish our basement and we decided right then that we were ready to move forward. Kevin was very professional and thorough and always kept us informed of our basement project every step of the way. Whenever we would have any questions he was very prompt with getting back to us and answering our questions. He started on our basement on time and finished on time. The family room area looks amazing. He had great ideas for a snack bar that we hadn't thought about and are so glad that we ended up adding it. It's so nice now to be watching tv and be able to walk over to the snack bar and grab a soda out of the fridge or put a bag of popcorn in the microwave and not have to run upstairs. The granite counter top for the snack bar looks great! We also added two cabinets and fridge under the counter. We also had a full bathroom added and the tile work turned out amazing. The whole bathroom looks great! When Kevin saw our basement and all my holiday decor and craft supplies he realized that I really needed a place to organize and store all this stuff. He was able to build me a closet that maximized the space and I was able to get all my "stuff" in there. We are looking at remodeling our master bathroom and kitchen in a couple years and we won't be wasting our time looking for any other contractors. Kevin will be the person we call."

I was very nervous when selecting the contractor for this job, I interviewed three contractors for the job, all seem very decent, but what set Best Home apart was Jeff Segovia. He was very responsive. He designed the whole layout of the basement (we love it) and oversaw the entire project from beginning to end. The construction crews were very polite and friendly. Best Home did an excellent job and very flexible with many changes I had and they completed the job on time (took 3 months and exactly 1 week)which was amazing. I am actually hiring them again for additional projects. I highly recommend Best Homes!"
