"My built-ins are gorgeous. Tea and George have so much pride in their workmanship that they were visibly frustrated when trying to deal with the many imperfections of my house (uneven walls, floors, and corners), out of concern that it might diminish their perfectly constructed unit. But they patiently and creatively worked through all of the issues and the final product is gorgeous. And when I decided to change the design mid-construction to add built-in lights, they were able to accommodate me. They then accommodated me again by modifying the shelves to make them glass framed in wood so that the light would shine through. The result is stunning. I had a different carpenter handle some built-ins in a different part of my house, but then I chose Tea and George for this project. The difference in experiences was night and day. Art Woodstone's workmanship was much higher quality; the devil is in the details, such as how visible seams are. They were also much easier to work with and more responsive. It was evident that they would not have considered the job complete until not only I was completely satisfied, but until they were completely satisfied with every detail."

"After purchasing an Angie's List Deal, I received the measuring kit in the mail promptly. The template and instructions provided to draw my split table top and each of the leaves were easy to use and understand. I mailed the completed materials and received the table pads very quickly. The table splits in the middle to allow insertion of up to 3 additional leaves. The table also has 2 drop leaves. That's 7 pads. All fit perfectly. I have used them on the table for family parties (not every day) and they're durable and built to last. I keep them in the box they arrived in to protect them when not in use. These are a worthwhile investment."

"I have 6 old chairs that I love because they swivel and rock. We have them in the breakfast room. Over time the mechanisms stopped working (these are perhaps close to 20 years old). All new chairs seem to be straight legged. I could have ordered new chairs from this store (they do custom new work, too) but my bucket seats were fine. It took about 2 and a half months for the new bases to come in, but they have custom made wooden legs. 
A few months later I noticed that three of the castors were broken and one was the wrong size. I only use 4 of the chairs on a regular basis, and three of the damaged ones just happened to be on the chairs I stored. I called the store and emailed photos of the castors. With no questions asked, they ordered the new castors AND came to my home to replace them. This is just excellent customer service, especially as I had had the chairs back for months. Nice.

As someone who?s been in the Facility Management career field for more than 30 years, I am extremely picky when it comes to quality of construction; I expect the best and will not accept any less.  When it comes to my expectations at home; I am equally demanding and expect the best quality for a reasonable price!

The process started with meeting and working with Antonia in the showroom.  This young woman was very knowledgeable and instrumental in helping my wife and I select the tile and design we wanted.  After a few questions, she clearly understood what we were looking for and made the process much easier.  The last thing she did was make arrangements to have Todd come to our home so that he could measure the project area and generate a cost estimate.  I?ve dealt with many contractors in my professional and personal lives, but very few at the caliber of this gentleman.  He arrived promptly and within a reasonable amount of time, he generated an accurate cost estimate which included an estimated start date and duration.

The TLG construction crews were outstanding!  They arrived promptly, were extremely professional and showed a high concern for cleanliness and care for my home.  The discipline specific crews worked together like a fine oiled machine.  Once each crew with their work, the next was ready to jump in and continue the work.  The schedule Todd provided at the very beginning was followed precisely.

This almost never happens; but the quality of the construction exceeded my expectations.  I inspected this project as I do at work, and the quality of construction was outstanding.  I?m a stickler when it comes to ?fine points? and TLG surpassed my expectations.

I am so pleased with the service and quality of construction received from TLG that I?ve decided to replace the tile the other 3 bathrooms in my home.  This is a quality company from the top down.  If you?re looking for high quality construction at a reasonable price; TLG is the company to go with.

"It was very worthwhile to use this service because the decorator answered some critical questions and kept me from making costly mistakes.  It is a good place to start and the price was right for what she did.  She spent 30 minutes on the phone talking to me but before that she spent a significant amount of time looking over photos and measurements that I submitted to her by email. She put a lot of time into the consult.  This service would be great for choosing wall colors, flooring, and fabric for furniture.  I will definitely keep her contact information for future projects.

"Closet Pioneers is a one stop shop for your closet installation or laundry room renovation. Ayca did a remarkable job designing the laundry room renovation project especially with our space constraints. She listened to the customer and made design changes quickly to keep the flow. Once designed the shelving and cabinets were customized in their facility. Next came the expert installer Romani who did a fabulous job installing and adjusting cabinets and shelving to meet some of our last minute changes. Finally, their plumber installed the quality faucet selected by Ayca. Overall the project was finished on time, within budget with excellent quality and workmanship."

"It went really well.  I contacted them through their number on Angie's list and got a messaging service, which was a little strange at first.  However, I got a call back that day so it was totally fine.
Harold came by to give an estimate one evening and drew up the contract in real time.  We had received other bids from other top Angie's list companies of about $8-9.5K.  Harold said he had a crew ready to go for two days from then and he said it would be $6400 including installation of gym flooring.  He said we did not need a permit to do the work, which I did give me some concerns but I also trusted Angie's list reviews that these guys were really professional.  I signed the bid and paid half up front.
The only negative experience I had was that I ended up reaching out to Mike about whether we needed permits/being concerned about closeting the furnace without someone inspecting the airflow, etc.  He said they would send over a gas expert journeyman to check it out and that I would hear about scheduling soon.  I never heard anything after that and the project was done so fast that I never really followed up before it was done (which is a good thing that it was done so fast).  
During construction: The two gentleman that executed our project were both very nice.  I am bad with names, but they were great.  It was an out of the way basement room but they still cleaned up every day and put their tools away really neatly.  I was super impressed and so was my wife who was worried about dust/dirt with our baby.  A couple of issues came out of our quick turnaround on the project (meaning I hadn't drawn out what I wanted or written out specs) but they were always fixed VERY quickly.  They framed the door about 2 feet from where I wanted it and they moved it for just $75 in labor with no material cost - which i think is very fair since I didn't specify in writing where I wanted it.  I also gave them HDMI outlets so that I could hang a TV and they installed those at no additional costs, which was a great help to me.  The WHOLE project was done in 7-8 work days, which was fantastic.
Overall: We left the project thinking that these guys were great.  We recently had a less-than-grand experience with a large addition ($150K+) to our house using a Angie's List Service Award winner and these guys were much better.  I'm OCD so I tend to point out things not done very well (which irritated the other builder to death), but these guys did everything right the first time despite not having a lot of direction.  They just finished a couple days ago and I have already recommended them to two good friends, so I really do have a positive opinion of them."

"Vince called me back within hours of my sending him a message through Angie's List.  Even though he does not list Montgomery County as one of his service areas, he was completely willing to help us out.  In my message, I had requested the work to be done onsite but Vince explained why having him pick up the generator and take it back to his shop to work on it would make more sense.  His charge for pick-up and delivery back to us was only $34.95.
When Vince came to pick up the generator, he was on time and was able to give me a ballpark cost for the work (which turned out to be very accurate).  He said that he could get it back to us in 3-4 days but I asked if he could do it faster as there was a snow storm predicted for the next day or so.  Vince agreed to a shorter time line and ultimately got the generator back to us within 1 day!  There ended up being no snow storm but we got our generator back in working condition - along with a booklet of care instructions, a copy of our invoice, and a service history form.  A few days later we received a hand-written Thank You card in appreciation of our business.  I can't imagine how the service could have been any better.  We will use Vince for any future small engine repairs/maintenance we have and highly recommend him and his services.

"We could not be happier with the professionalism and quality of work performed. Raul Martinez, the owner of RGE group LLC,  did our projects and he is reliable, extremely competent, dependable, knowledgeable, and personable. He is very sensitive to getting input from the homeowner and does an exceptional job explaining things in such a way that the homeowner can understand the various options. In sum, Raul is a delight and he does exceptionally fine work.
       He completed two projects for us and we are 1000% satisfied. The first project was refinishing all of the fronts of the kitchen cabinets doors and drawers (40 plus total). The cabinets are 16 years old and had become stained and scratched.
The cabinets had been handcrafted by the Amish with a white-wash effect. Raul did a marvelous job and they look just like new. He was even able to fix a significant crack in a side panel. The second project was retiling the floor in our half bath.  He removed the old tile and then ensured that the underflooring wood was screwed securely to prevent future squeaks.  Again, he selected some
great tiles for us to use and because we have a pedestal sink, he had to remove the sink and the toilet. He also carefully matched the tile height with the wooden floor in the living room, something that had not been done before, which gives the project a much nicer look rather than having a threshold board between the tile and the wood floor. He also painted the bathroom walls, ceiling,
baseboard and crown molding. We decided we should upgrade the fixtures so he had to use his electrical skills to remove the wall light. Because he knows how to do everything (including electrical work, plumping, carpentry, tiling and painting) he can get the job done efficiently without having to wait for various specialists. This was especially important for our bathroom upgrade.
Throughout the project, he kept us updated and answered our numerous questions. Each day he cleaned up and when the projects were completely finished, everything looked marvelous. He is an all-around professional. We will absolutely call Raul to do any future work in our home.
