Chuck found another product that was perfect for us and he did it all within a day of his first presentation. The pricing was great compared to a few other estimates I received. His team showed up on time and got a living room , a hallway, and 3 bedrooms completed in just 2 days. They even took apart several of the beds quickly and put them back together. We have used Exposition Carpet for several carpet installations over many years in our finished basement, and have consistently found the best pricing, ease of schedule and quality installation thru them. I especially like that it's a family business and you are dealing directly with owners and not with a salesman that doesn't even know who his/her boss is. The installers have worked their for years and that says a lot.

After going through a back porch remodel enclosing to a mudroom, we wanted a pet friendly, water resistant and durable floor so we went with vinyl plank. The store had many options, and time frame to get material was within a week. We checked out a 'sale' prior at a trendy well known Lincoln Avenue store, only to be met with double the cost and attitude. So we ended up back at Exposition and it was a done deal within 2 weeks.

I thought I had reviewed them on AL, but realized I hadn't when the list asked if members had any feedback.

"Mitchell came in and inspected my floor. He told me exactly what job they where going to on my floor. He explained everything thoroughly to me. He was also very helpful in helping me pick a color. He was very professional and very personable. I felt comfortable going ahead with the project."

"The work crew were arrived on time and were polite. Demolition of the old floor was executed quietly and neatly. The new vinyl flooring covered an area that was almost 2,000 square feet. This was installed in two days. The staircase was sanded and restained to match the new floor. The result is a perfect match. "I have been preparing my house for sale, so I decided to get an estimate on having 1800 square feet of hardwood floors buffed and coated with urethane. I discussed the price over that phone. The estimated cost was 40 cents per square foot, totaling $800, contingent on inspection by the owner of Superior Hardwood Flooring, George. He arrived at my house and carefully looked at the condition of the floors throughout. He noted that much of my wood flooring is in very good condition. Some areas have minor dark spots that are the result of washing with water, over the years. George explained that the dark spots would not be improved by buffing and coating and that spending $800 would really not yield a great difference. He advised that the only way to get back to a new finish look would be to refinish everything. He further advised that by going down the path of refinishing, I could update with the darker more trendy colors, but that the cost of doing so would be significantly higher, $2.50 per square foot, and would not likely be a good return on my investment. I decided not to do anything to my wood floors and I really appreciate the professionalism and candid advise that George provided, for my particular situation."

"I had 2 bathrooms done. The material they use is very nice and easy to maintain. The best out of all the people we looked at. The salesman was very nice and very response but there are issues with our install that were not taken care of. First the product that was packed and shipped was not correct. They had the wrong size base and I had to prove it to them by taking pics with a ruler to get it correct. Next, they had the wrong color fixtures for one of the bathrooms. Then the installation team broke a panel on one and still put it up. The 3 wall panels were not all the same. one was shine, another was a completely different look on the color pattern, and one was cracked. I had to call on that. It was replaced. However, in both bathrooms the installation crew which I was told was the best dropped the one panel and gouged my floor which was left as is even though I was told it would be made correct. "Sergiu came when he said he would and made sure to cover path ways , etc with plastic so carpets, etc would not get damaged. They cleaned up after they were done. The flooring installation was well done and looks great. I have 2 steps off the kitchen which could have been a problem but he did a good job with it. I was pleased with the results. Sergiu and his crew were very respectful and careful with other things in the house. I would hire him again."
