"First, a word or two on Carlos:  a genuinely great guy, who is up front on cost and very knowledgeable about his line of work. 
We had about a one inch gap under our kitchen sink that grew steadily since we moved in to our newly built home.  It seems the builder, or the sub who performed the work, fitted the pipes incorrectly.  Over time, the improper alignments began to reveal itself and water began to fall unto the cabinet bottom.  Carlos identfied the issue right away.  Within an hour or so, all of the pipes were replaced.  Originally, the cost was 225.00, but Carlos was kind enough to ask where I found his services.  When I responded with Angie's List, and without hesitation, he gave the me advertised discount.

"I contacted Granite Vision and spoke with Roni, explaining that because the vanity was in an awkward place in this small bathroom, I needed help to decide what was required. Joseph and another member came within a couple of days to assess the situation, make recommendations, and take measurements. Joseph then emailed pictures of various granite slabs since I was unable to get to their site, and within a week his team installed the top, offset sink, and my faucet. Both their installer and plumber readily answered all questions. Also, because I have add'l bathroom remodeling to do, I asked Joseph for any recommendations he may have for providers with whom he's worked who do smaller jobs and are good. "Process was excellent from start to finish. The owner of the company came to our house to take measurements and provide an estimate that was very reasonable when compared to the more well-known national companies that franchise locally. Intaller was very professional, put drop clothes down in all areas, removed debris, etc. Installation took a full day but it was apparent that the time was well-spent to do things right. "Ahmed had been working with the home warranty people for the past few weeks to ensure we got the correct tank. Home warranties only cover like for like typically so the new tank is not a vast improvement, but will save 150Kw or so per year. We're all electric so options were limited. Ahmed worked with our warranty company to get us the best tank possible under coverage and arrived same day once it was finally available which was also late in the afternoon, but he came anyway despite having to work past sunset and looming thunderstorms. 
Upon arrival and getting the old tank out, it was confirmed a drip tray which we did not previously have but wanted for the new tank to prevent water seepage into our finished area would not work in the space unless the utility sink was moved over along with the washer and dryer (thankfully we had almost a foot to spare on the other side within the space). We decided to go ahead and replace the sink too despite it doubling our out-of pocket costs that the warranty didn't cover. Ahmed took the time to go with me to a nearby Home Depot and once the sink was selected, ensured we had all the necessary parts to install properly. Though the job took a lot longer than anticipated and cost more money, I am totally satisfied with the level of craftsmanship Ahmed provided. He really knows plumbing, and made sure we were left with a better situation than what we had before, despite additional investment on our part; worth every penny!
His language skills are a bit of a hurdle, but Ahmed is 100% professional, courteous, knowledgeable, patient, cleaned up afterward, and I would recommend him for any plumbing task. He even took a minute to look at a problematic shower head that I thought was a pressure issue from the tank but was just clogged in the shower head's hose which he took care of no problem.

"I was combining bright white cabinets on the perimeter of my kitchen with a walnut peninsula.  That required either getting a single granite that would work with both or two granites that would work with the different woods and each other.  I had searched on my own a couple of times and was leaning toward a particular granite.   Nick was able to talk me out of a bad decision.  He then very patiently evaluated dozens of granites with me, pointing out potential problems with some, narrowing down to others.  His expertise with stone helped me to choose beautiful slabs that work perfectly in my kitchen.  I then purchased the slabs and they were delivered to his shop. 
His process (customer buys slab, Nick's crew fabricates the countertop) yields left-over stone in his shop.  From this, he chose a perfect stone for my laundry room.  He measured, then his crew installed a week later.
For the kitchen, he was able to install less than a week after measuring.  That is amazingly fast turnaround for granite fabrication.  The granites were fabricated perfectly and look gorgeous.  Very professional crew.
Overall, it was a terrific experience.  Stonework is as much art as craft.  Nick has great taste and is willing to share that with his customers to help them make great choices.

"The service provider came out and inspected my problem. I had an older three faucet system in both bathrooms. The provider said since the rest of the bath/shower area was in good condition, I just needed to replace the faucets. He said that it would be a good idea to replace both bathrooms with the same new faucet sets. He explained that they could provide the faucet sets or I could purchase them on my own. It was significantly cheaper to purchase them on my own. However, if I purchased my own faucets, the companies warranty would not cover any problems with the faucets, Their warranty would only cover the work. He explained that it would be a good idea to get ceramic faucets versus the stem kind. I had to purchase the faucets and then contact the provider to come back and install them. When I went to buy the faucets, I had a very limited selection for three handle faucets sets with a valve included. I ended up spending approximately $134.00 for two faucet sets that included shower head, tub spout, three handles and valve. Since I was replacing two faucet sets, the provider gave me half off of the second set replacement. My total bill for the work was $490.00 for both plus the $99.00 I paid for the deal. The receptionist was also very polite and professional."
