"Brent, his crew and subs did a great job. They were prompt courteous, respectful and professional. Brent did a great job solving the electrical issues we had and when the electrician tried to charge us an additional $3000 Brent intervened and told him no then got a new electrician to finish the job. He is excellent in solving problems as they come up and advocating for us."

"From start to finish , it went really well. I wasn't sure how to use my 8x4 closet space to its maximum. Willie came in and his eye for what would work for me was wonderful. His designs were great. The cabinet in dining room turned out perfect too. The installers were great also. Highly recommended."

"John and his team could not have been better to work with.  They were punctual, professional, friendly and the project looks perfect!  They also were very diligent about protecting floors while working and covered all furniture and door openings to control dust.  They helped us remove a wall between our kitchen and dining room and added a breakfast bar.  This was the best remodeling experience I've ever had, and I would recommend John's team without hesitation.  On top of the great work, they also happen to be great people.

"They were terrible, it took us a month and half for them to even schedule an appointment. They changed the dates several times. They keep waiting and they needed to order parts. A month later after they installed it there was water leaking for under the door, so they installed it wrong, they came back and fixed it but I'm not sure if this one will work it has not rained yet."

FAQs for addition to existing structure building service projects in Dunreith, IN

You can typically raise your roof by four to eight feet, depending on your home's structure and roof design. The exact amount depends on factors like roof slope and framing support. Raising the roof creates additional interior space, enhances natural light, and increases your home's value. Consult a professional to determine the feasible height increase for your home.

Yes, you need a building permit to raise your roof. Obtaining a building permit ensures your project complies with local building codes and safety regulations. A professional contractor can assist with the permit and inspection process and ensure all legal and safety requirements are met. Your contractor will be familiar with building codes in your area, which can differ between cities or states.

While it's possible to raise a flat roof, it requires extensive structural modifications. Flat roofs lack the attic space and support structures of pitched roofs, so raising them involves significant engineering to ensure safety and durability. This process can be complex and costly, so professional assessment is essential before undertaking a project of this magnitude.
