"Nick and Brook were absolutely amazing! Nick came to our house to give a quote. He showed us specific details of what to expect. He worked with us to give us the best price possible. In fact, for the same exact materials, his price was almost half of what Mad City quoted us. Brook did most of the install and kept us up to date every step of the way. We had a vent placement issue. He told us the options and solved it perfectly. The price quoted was a set price. As they came across extra work that they didn't anticipate, they fixed it without charging a penny more! "I had an old faucet in my bathroom that was starting to wear out and hired PSD to replace the faucet. They were quick and efficient. When it came time to restain my deck I knew immediately who to call. They came early on a Saturday morning and were done by the time I woke up (third shifter). I didn’t hear them at all. When my disposal started leaking I knew who to call. Within a couple of days (when my schedule was open) they were able to come and replace the disposal with a brand new one. It took them less than 30 minutes and we were back in business. When I am finally ready to redo my shower, they will be first on my list to call."

"It went very well.  Despite the fact that I live in Tennessee and this company is in Boston, they helped me a great deal.  I can't remember what I actually paid them, but it seemed reasonable for what I got:  unlimited access to the decorator's assistance.   I had already chosen some of the elements needed for my bathroom remodel, but got bogged down over colors/curtains/light fixtures at the end.  I just needed some help in tying everything together.
Their decorator (Amanda Zettel) and I worked mainly through Pinterest;  I made a board of my bathroom, using pictures of what I'd chosen already, and she sent me links to items that she thought I would like in categories that I needed.  We also talked over the phone several times, and emailed, too.  I believe Homemade Design will also help you with vendors and purchasing, though I didn't use that service.  Amanda did send me to some new websites, and I chose my bathroom lights from one of them.  Amanda helped me choose the finish, the shades, and the placement of the fixtures, which I love.  They are unique and charming - thanks, Amanda!
She also sent me several names of paint colors to chose from for the bath.  Because of the variations in computer screen colors, some people might not be comfortable with this, but I wanted to be the one who actually picked the color.  I just felt a little overwhelmed at the huge selection, so Amanda was able to narrow my choices to a range that I could live with.  The color has been up on my wall for over a month now, and I'm very happy with it.
All in all, this was a very good experience, and I will definitely use Jeff and Amanda's help again!"
