But they forgot to patch up holes in the closet and near electrical panel, which i didn't catch until later. But i would hire them again and recommend them. He was punctual and responsive to our requests and questions. We realized very quickly that Glenn is very knowledgeable and honest. We had a punch list of electrical work that we wanted to complete (e.g., TV mounting, ceiling fan replacement, and outdoor motion sensor lighting). He called us in advance to talk through each of the jobs and compiled a list of materials that would be required. "The quote was nearly 50% higher than our lowest quote and about 25% higher than the next highest quote. Also, the electrician recommended a GFCI breaker, which would have been incompatible with our installation (the outlet was to be used with an electric vehicle charger that has built-in GFCI protection). Doubling up on the GFCI can cause problems and is against the installation directions. I wouldn't expect the electrician to know this necessarily (he didn't see the installation directions), but he boasted that they have worked with Teslas, so perhaps he should know (or stop using that as a selling point). Wes Carver Electrical was the only one to recommend GFCI, which added even more to the cost and put that part of their quote about 75% higher than what we ultimately paid for the work."
