"Work agreed to: 1) level a slope, 2) build stone patio, 3) install fence. Period of performance told by the contractor was 5 days to a week and a half. Work started May 16. By June 3 project was not half complete. Contractor delivered pile of dirt and pile of gravel and railroad ties for retaining walls. Contractor did some work. If reasons given were accurate, then some missing days for medial were reasonable but after three weeks there were several issues: 1) the work was only about halfway complete after three weeks, 2) the slope remained which can't be used since it's needed for a shed, bee hives, and raised beds, 3) the rear retaining wall was already leaning and losing dirt from only one rain. With these concerns I consulted two other landscapers who immediately identified problems with the wall as well as the slope, that it would not hold through one winter. In addition, contractor may not have contacted Digsafe, public utilities, and city public works for permission to proceed with any excavation. I have a lot more details including inconsistent texts"

"In summary I have to say Richard was  excellent!  He came when he said he would and finished the work when he said it would be finished.  As I solicited multiple bids for the work NE Renovations was among the most competitive.  As the work was completed I was so pleased I ended requesting he come back to do additional jobs.  He was very accomadating and even explained various options on how best to accomplish the additional work.

"I saw Ryan working in the neighborhood and admired his work. When I called him for a project on an apartment building, he had some suggestions, provided an estimate and completed the job in a timely fashion ( on budget). "Showed up at  the appointed time for the estimate, spent much more time than other contractors looking over and measuring the house and roof, All the while explaining to me what he saw and what he recommended.  He Even returned a few days later to take some additional measurements.  His estimate was mid point of three that I had recieved and work began first week of June.  Job took longer then expected but mainly delayed due to weather.  He and his crew were onsite every morning and went straight to task.  As the siding and roof were removed, Some serious structural issues were found.  These he brought to my attention immediately along with recommendations.  IU had also asked that while roofing, He check and reinsulate the roof ( cathedral ceiling) and Install two vented Skylights. This was done above and beyond the original quote . The work done by Larry and his crew was TOP notch and Very  very detail orientated.  When the job was finished, his crew cleaned up to the point you would never have known they were here.  WOuld Highly recommend LH Construction for any contstruction needs, and Definately plan on using him again. "
