"I am sorry to say that we had a very bad experience with John. He installed 2 sump pumps in our basement but he cut the floaters. I don't know why he did that. They are on/off switches in sump pumps, but we didn't realize all that. We were overseas when a heavy rain came and the pumps didn't work properly. We had a major flooding and much damage. The basement flooded by almost 2 feet because the pumps worked for 30 seconds and didn't work for two minutes.... because of the missing floaters. We paid him $2000 for the job, whereas our losses from the flooding were $5000. The basement is finished and has a computer, tv, etc. etc. Clothes, all my husband's shoes, college textbooks ($$), and more. The sheetrock walls and doors, all that had to go. I called him to ask him to come and see the work. He never returned my many phone calls. The local plumbing store went mum on John - they don't know where to find him.. I don't believe it, of course. I find it very dishonest and sad. He is the kind of a professional who disappears when he has made a mistake. Maria"
