"After the initial sales appointment there was no other communication from the company. My pool liner arrived quickly after ordering it, but the company never called to let me know it was in and ready for install. If I didn't call and check in I would of never known they had it ready in. Poor job there. Then we had to wait a week after scheduling the pool liner install until they actually started the work. The day kept getting pushed back. It took 4-5 days to complete the install and after each day there was no communication if they were returning or not. I had to follow up so many times to see what time and when they would be back to finish the job. The liner came out great, but the waiting and communication for the company sucks. Plus I was left with wrinkles in the liner that can't be fixed until we can drain the pool again."

"JJL Electric were excellent; they were very neat, very, clean, and very responsive. They were really good. I got the $99 special; two hours for $99 and they did everything I asked them to do. They were prompt in calling back and when he came to the house, he wanted to clean up every piece of blimp and dirt that he might have dropped or brought in. He was just very personable and very nice. I definitely plan on using him again."

"Choice was fast, efficient, and kept me posted on the progress of the claim. Although the water leak issue was discovered on a Friday, they had a plumber there to investigate by Saturday morning. When it was determined that the 20+ year old heater needed to be replaced, the replacement ordered, on-site, and installed by Wednesday morning. I am glad that we opted for the Choice Ultimate plan as other than the initial $65 service fee, all but one $50 ancillary expense was covered."

"It was time for an update to our kitchen and a few other items around the house. Jesse and his team were clean, professional, and timely getting the job done. They rewired and added outlets in our kitchen, added a few ceiling fans, and replaced our thermostats, among other things in our remodel journey. I highly recommend Jesse and his team to tackle any new or existing electrical job or issue you might have."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"Finally - a service technician who is competent, does what he says he's going to do and charges a fair price for it! I had been looking for someone to fix our jacuzzi bath tub for awhile and had had no luck finding someone through Jacuzzi, so I checked out Angie's List and found House of Spas.  Based on the reviews, I gave them a call.  Troy got back to me promptly; we set up an appointment; he came when he said he would and determined that we needed a new pump.  He told me that he would order one and then call me when it came in, and left without asking for any payment.   After a week or so -- I don't remember exactly how long but it was what you would expect in terms of getting a new part -- he called to tell me the pump was in and we set up the installation appointment.  He returned when he said he would with another technician, they installed the pump, and the jacuzzi has been working fine ever since. Troy charged me $400 for the pump, $95 for the initial service call and $100 for the labor to install the pump/check for leaks, etc., all of which seemed fair to me, especially considering the distance he traveled to do the work.  He accepted a 10% Angie's List coupon, so that brought the total down to $535.50, with a 1 year warranty on parts and labor. I would definitely recommend House of Spas."
