He also plastered water-damaged ceilings and cleaned and organized the basement storage area. In addition, part of the demolition included tearing down two walls on the first floor and a strip of drywall by the front door. Without asking, Bertie fixed those as well and included them in the price. Furthermore, we are installing a pocket door and need to wait for that before drywall goes up, plus our plumber needs access to the shower before the durock goes up, and Bertie has already committed to helping us with those issues as soon as they are ready. He didn't remove a pipe from the roof, so water leaked in, soaked the insulation and left a water stain on the ceiling. I would never recommend him to anybody. I really trusted the guy.
