"I can not speak highly enough of Alex, Dimitry, and David. They are artists who do an amazing job and charge a very fair price. We have a 1754 house, so nothing is simple. We asked them to refinish the flooring that we had in the great room. I have just completed renovating and wanted to have the 1950's floors refinished. Maybe someday we will put period flooring in, but for now, we just wanted the floor that we have to match the renovation. They blew us away with their quality and attention to detail. Alex was very patient with us and explained the whole process. In three days, our floor went from beat-up to beautiful. We were so impressed with their work, that we had them restore the historical plank floors that we have upstairs in our hallway and in one bedroom. They far exceeded what they did downstairs. "Peter Mountzoures of all trades I really like utilizing the service of Peter because he is one of the few contractors that I felt confident in performing the work on my late parents’ home without me following up right away. In addition, Peter replaced two windows that were on the second floor with ease, razed an old building, replaced the roof on the main dwelling, and plowed my late parent’s driveway when I requested. "Went great. Jess was punctual, in-budget and really great to work with. I think she knew her stuff and just as importantly, if she didn't have an answer, she would get one. Jess did not give fake answers. The house looks great now and things are ship-shape.
Jess was fun, professional and knowledgeable. Some of the work involved a few curve balls provided by hidden damage in the floor. Girls 'n' Tools took it in stride and just handled what needed to be done.

"We scheduled an in-house estimate for replacing our family room carpet with wood and replacing upstairs carpet. The sales person came in on time but he was not interested in listening to what we wanted. He had very limited choice of wood floors and only two choices of carpets. His behavior was pretty condescending. When we asked him to estimate for carpet replacement in our bedrooms, he said and quot;it will be expensiveand quot;. We had researched before calling him and hence were not as ignorant as he thought us to be. We also had an idea of the price for the service we were asking for. In fact, his estimate was close to our expectation. But when we were asking for other possible options (since he had limited choices) he said if and quot; we can afford a Ford then Mercedes will seem expensiveand quot;. Who talks to customers like that? when we said we need to think this over since we have a few more estimates to check, he said we have to decide immediately . We wanted him to leave the estimate so that we could think it over. He declined and left. What a waste of time!
