Small jobs welcome

"Mike and his team did an absolutely incredible job on our project. It included splitting our basement into two bedrooms and converting half of our garage into a bonus room. My family and I could not be happier with the finished product. Mike was an excellent communicator and we were happy with the overall cost of the project. We WILL absolutely rehire Mike for our next construction project without question. You will not be disappointed if you choose to go with Norpro."

"I wanted a sturdy shed built on my poured concrete slab. I knew how large I wanted it, but after that, I needed help. Nate worked with me to design, build and finish my 12x16 shed from start to finish. The process was efficient, and the shed is beautiful. Honestly, what I call a shed, would probably classify as a garage, had we installed a garage door, but that was not what I needed at the time. While working with Nate, I quickly recognized he could be trusted to find a solution to any problem. Next he helped me plan and built a matching railing for my home’s staircase, after I had previously removed an old rotting one. Again, this process was quick easy and friendly. Sadly I moved away from the area, but if I ever return, I will always reach out to Nate first for my building and remodeling needs."

"Polam Home Improvement recently completed a project to repair extensive water damage on my home. The work included some major structural repair/replacement of studs, floor joists, insulation, drywall and plaster of the interior walls as well as the exterior Dryvit system surfaces. The texture and color of the finish match the original product perfectly. Tomasz and his crew are very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. Tomasz gave me a very reasonable estimate, was punctual for appointments and always communicated consistently throughout the project. I highly recommend Polam Home Improvement for their customer service, dependability, and exceptional quality of their work."

FAQs for addition to existing structure building service projects in Eatonville, WA

You can typically raise your roof by four to eight feet, depending on your home's structure and roof design. The exact amount depends on factors like roof slope and framing support. Raising the roof creates additional interior space, enhances natural light, and increases your home's value. Consult a professional to determine the feasible height increase for your home.

Yes, you need a building permit to raise your roof. Obtaining a building permit ensures your project complies with local building codes and safety regulations. A professional contractor can assist with the permit and inspection process and ensure all legal and safety requirements are met. Your contractor will be familiar with building codes in your area, which can differ between cities or states.

While it's possible to raise a flat roof, it requires extensive structural modifications. Flat roofs lack the attic space and support structures of pitched roofs, so raising them involves significant engineering to ensure safety and durability. This process can be complex and costly, so professional assessment is essential before undertaking a project of this magnitude.
