"Went well. He had all parts he needed and total job was completed within 30 minutes. <br /> Work done was done expediently: and so far, so good. As of today, June 23, 2014, everything has held up well. No more dripping and tub stopper in guest bath is working well. However, I think $204.00 was a little too much for the work that was done and the time they were there. With that being said....I would use Hank's Plumbing Repair, LLC again. <br /> The address above for Hank's Plumbing Repair, LLC is 559A George Todd Dr., Montgomery, AL. The address on the and quot;receiptand quot; I received is 5535 Wares Ferry Road, Montgomery, AL 36117. I am ASSUMING this is the same company that performed the work at my home on January 16, 2014. <br />"

"He was there less than an hour, was cordial and efficient, however he did not give an itemized receipt. We were charged $427 for an hour of work in which we provided all the parts. When I called to get an itemized receipt for the work we were told they do not issue itemized receipts because they charge a flat rate. So I asked if $427 is the flat rate for 1 hour of work and I was told that was "none of my business." I think that as the customer paying for the work it is my business why I am being charged what I am being charged. I was told that if we hadn't been able to provide the parts that charge would have covered them. I don't believe I should be charged for parts they didn't provide, particularly since I had already purchased $120 in parts to ensure we were only paying for labor. The service stopped being polite once I questioned the charges. We will not be using them again and instead will use a plumber willing to explain their charges up front as opposed to demanding an arbitrary price with no accountability for parts, labor, overhead and other charges."

"Ron's Old Time Plumbing is just the type of company my father would like, want to do things correct the first time. Very informative and explains what he is doing at all times. Scheduled for 9:30, called and asked if they could be here earlier! Great Job and I have found my plumber for the house."

"Cameron did a great job in the blistering heat of our attic tracking down an acceptable location to place a dehumidifier we plan to install. He made the necessary electrical wiring determinations/additions so all electrical requirements are ready to go. It cost less than half of what we originally anticipated."

"The water tank on our toilet was extremely slow in refilling. Headley Plumbing came out the same day, was punctual (something that seems to be a big problem with other companies we have used in the past), and fixed the problem in no time. The plumber was very professional and friendly and cleaned up the work area after completion of the job. We definitely will call Headley again when we need a plumber! Thanks for the great service!!!!! <br />"

"Had to run to Montgomery for an emergency for my elder parents due to Ac not working. Called Jeff on a neighbors recommendation. Could not have made a better choice. To say Jeff was through wouldn't do him credit. As a general contractor for over 30 years he is by far one of the best I've ever seen. No reservations giving Hammonds my highest recommendation. FAQs for plumbing installation for a remodel or addition projects in Eclectic, AL

Adding bathroom plumbing to a detached garage starts with the basic line installation cost of $900 to $1,300. On top of this base expense, you'll need to budget for each fixture. A toilet costs  $250 to $550, sinks cost $150 to $800, and a shower or bathtub costs $400 to $1,900. The project will also require ventilation, moisture-resistant materials, and possibly electrical work. Remember that these costs reflect only the plumbing aspects—additional construction, finishing, and permitting expenses will apply to complete a functional bathroom space.

While certain aspects of garage renovation might be suitable for DIY enthusiasts, plumbing installation requires professional expertise. Connecting to water and sewer systems demands specialized knowledge and equipment, and improper installation can result in severe water damage, code violations, and potential health hazards. Most municipalities require permits for plumbing modifications, and these often stipulate that licensed professionals must perform work. Consider limiting your involvement to simpler tasks like painting or basic finishing work.

The timeframe for adding plumbing to a detached garage spans one to three days for the actual plumbing work. However, this represents only the active installation period. The complete project timeline must account for planning, obtaining permits (which can take weeks depending on your locality), coordinating multiple contractors if needed, and addressing any unexpected challenges that arise during installation. Weather conditions can also impact excavation and outdoor connection work.

Adding plumbing to a detached garage will likely increase your property taxes. Tax assessors consider plumbing an improvement that enhances property value and functionality. The specific tax impact varies by location and project scope. Converting a garage into living space with plumbing facilities can trigger significant reassessment in many jurisdictions. Before proceeding with your project, consult your local tax assessor's office to understand the potential tax implications and factor this ongoing expense into your decision-making process.
