We had to have our existing partially finished basement demolished so we could have french drains and a sump system put in, as well as a geothermal heating/cooling installation accomplished, after having an existing oil burning furnace and radiant heating system removed. The basement restoral project included plumbing and sink replacement, electrical and lighting efficiency upgrades, framing and drywall replacement, door replacements, flooring replacement, and a few decorative additions to give the space some character. Initially, we called Dimitri to get a third estimate for a new full bath in our unfinished basement. We were about to host guests for about 6 months so an extra bath would be helpful. Dimitri came to our home promptly, thoroughly scoped out the job, and responded back in two days with a great price. The other two contractors did not adequately scope out their work very well. Both were overpriced, unprofessional, and neither provided estimates back for several weeks. However, as it turns out, our guests will not be staying as long as planned.  Therefore, we decided to hold up on the extra bath at this time but decided to go ahead with a new utility tub and some electrical outlets for now.
On 8/5/15, Dimitri?s installed a new utility tub (from scratch) in our basement area and installed four new electrical outlets. While on the job, we added the replacement of internal plumbing in three toilets too. 
We are very impressed and appreciative of Dimitri?s work quality, efficiency and honesty. "My wife and I hired AES to install an upstairs powder room in our 100 year old home. Upon requesting a consultation, Dave Hill quickly answered our request and scheduled an appointment. Dave took his time with us, answering all of our questions and concerns, and we had several with the quirks of and old home. Dave provided a professionally detailed evaluation, taking into account our requirements and our personal needs. He provided a detailed estimate and brought out the crew who would be working the project to confirm they had every angle covered. Work commenced on the day scheduled. The crew of two (carpenter-Matt and plumber-Wes) worked in unison from start to completion. These guys were polite friendly, professional and worked tirelessly. Both kept us informed of their status and progress and what to expect the next day. Dave also dropped in to ask us personally how the job was going. Like I said, we had some concerns because of the age of the home, but Matt and Wes gave the house and the project the care required.
