"Mike and his crew spent approximately 5 months working on multiple areas in and around our home. We added a third stall garage and mudroom/laundry room to the first floor, we added a basement bathroom, remodeled a 4 season porch to use year around as an additional main floor living space, bumped out a small second floor bedroom to add an additional bathroom and larger bedroom to make a master bedroom and en suite bathroom and finally a new 6 foot cedar fence to keep the dogs in our yard. Mike was quick and responsive to our initial meetings, questions, ideas and budget. He was able to creatively rethink the layouts of several of our rooms to keep our budget in check and still give us everything we were wanting. As the owner and general contractor, Mike kept all of his crew moving, supplies delivered and his several sub contractors on time. Mike and his crew are full service...they can frame up, handle tree work, install doors & windows, install siding, install cedar fencing, lay tile, sheetrock, paint, complete finishing work, etc. Mike was able to get our foundation work completed in October so his crew could work all winter long rather than waiting 9 months to start due to our freezing winter temps. We had a standing weekly appointment, at our home, to go over the progress, answer our questions and talk about next steps. Keeping the lines of communication open was huge considering we had no idea how much knowledge and work was necessary for the size of job they were working on. Mike's crew dealt with our 2 dogs during the day and 5 people attempting to live in the construction areas while they worked! We were very pleased with Mike and his crew. We will immediately turn to Higgins Construction when we have any additional renovation/construction needs."

We were so impressed with the attention to detail that our Site Manager; Marcus, provided; we expected to see him once at the onset of the process, and maybe once again, but he returned multiple times to take pictures, check with his workers, and communicate the progress to us. Marcus was there when the crew began their work to ensure setup was proper, and he answered all our questions. He visited several additional times to review the progress and speak with us, and he stopped by when the work was complete to ensure we were satisfied and didn't have any other issues. he crew was very punctual and super polite! It was very impressive how cautious they were in protecting the areas around our home where the shingles were tossed when removed... I still can't believe that we didn't find any scraps in the yard at all! They were so proficient at cleaning absolutely everything before leaving each evening! If you hadn't looked up at our roof to see that it was being replaced - you'd never know it was happening from anywhere else on our property! They were incredibly hard-working! We would happily recommend Legacy to anyone seeking a new roof; they made our experience much easier than anticipated!"

"Roofing was fine, but when I called because of a leak 3 months after the warentee period, I was told the rate per roofer was $185 for the first hour and $98 per hour after that. No flexibility or willingness to work with me at all. The leak was not new just newly discovered. Does not matter. Legally they may be right but this attitude is not what customer service I want to have in my life. They will not get additional work from me."

He submitted 3 proposals for different options within a week. After our selection and down payment, Edgar, the project manager contacted us and told us when the project would start. The install crew deserve a special shout-out - these guys installed our metal roof on the hottest week in July. They were diligent and showed up early to the job site.
