"It went smoothly exactly as Paul described the job. His crew installed a sump pump and ensured in drained to the curb. The crew replaced the drain run to the curb and dug around the existing bushes. The crew also connected the the roof downspout to the run to the curb. The crew installed a perforated pipe in a trench which created a floating basement floor on 3 sides of the basement. (the 4th wall was not necessary since was an interior wall.) They concreted over the pipe with a gap to the wall. they repaired and painted the basement walls."

"Just Basements did a great job finishing our basement. Rob, the owner, was very responsive and the foreman Charlie did a great job and got the work done two weeks early. All contractors that came to do work were very respectful. The finished product exceeded our expectations. We also had them add a half bath (there was no rough in) so we were pleased with the price for all work that needed to be done. We would definitely use this company again and recommend them to everyone."

"It's a local family-owned business, and they did a great job.  They provided a very personalized experience, and they really understood what we wanted out of the project.  Furthermore, the installers arrived promptly, worked efficiently, and were minimally intrusive while doing the job."

"This company does absolutely wonderful work. Ron came out and, working alone, resided my house in a week. He installed three layers of insulated underlayment at my request. The pace he worked at allowed me to take care of several things in the evening, some of which I had planned and some which Ron suggested should be done.  He was very attentive to details despite having to deal with a large number of wasps who had made their home in the roofs overhang. While I did not meet Ron, my wife said he was very friendly and worked hard while he was here.  Additionally, Tom was at the job site everyday to see how things were going. On the day the job was completed, Ron would not accept payment because final inspection had not been completed.  Tom was out the next day and completed the inspection.  The door that was purchased originally came with 2 different keys. American Vinyl replaced the locks at no additional fee so that we only had one key to deal with.  I am extremely happy with American Vinyl and hope to hire them again in a few years to cover my painted brick with vinyl siding. <br />"

"It was a great experience! I dealt with the owner, Mary. She came to my house and saw all my issues. She told me they were all things her company could handle and she was right. I went to the showroom where I could see samples of the materials they use. She went through the entire process with me and made suggestions on colors and materials that would work in my small bath. The main thing that sold me was that they tear everything out and don't just cover up possible problems. The crew that did the work was great. Rex and Joe worked so hard and always took time to explain everything to me. Bryan also was great and helped to complete the job on schedule. I can't say enough about what a great job they all did for me. Everything turned out great. <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Edison, OH

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
