"From the start, the crew paid attention to what I was hoping to fix. They did not push unnecessary upgrades and focused on what mattered most. Their work looks clean and consistent, and the updated area has become one of my favorite parts of the house."

"27 windows were replaced in three days. Very smooth installation and very good job!
I have done four projects with SGK in the past - they are always on time and professional. Best prices for the Milgard product in the Bay area.

"Chris is the third person I hired for this work. The first man kept promising he'd do the work but never got around to it, the second was a company I hired off of Angieslist - they were Mutt and Jeff, basically - inefficient, late, yammering on the phone the whole time, and leaving a god-awful mess. My interior designer referred Chris to me and I'm so grateful he's come into my life! Settling into my new place has gone from a nightmare to a pleasant experience. And at a reasonable price. Not the cheapest, probably, but work that can't be challenged by anyone. He's far more than a "handyman," but I think it's the best category for Chris because he's so versatile and game to tackle any job I give him."

"Ybarra Professional Builders did 2 big plumbing projects on my house and property. Not only did they install a brand-new main water line to replace the old leaking galvanized steel pipe, but they also re-piped my house's plumbing as it was also made from that same rusting out galvanized steel. I also had some other major work done by them at the same time (tree removal and sprinkler repair) but since Home Advisor asked for a specific type of project for this review, I will only review the plumbing projects. Vlad was the project manager for all of these projects. He coordinated all of the sub-contractors' work and got the projects done in a timely manner. There were none of the time issues that I had heard about with other contractors, such as waiting weeks between one phase of a project to get the next one started-after one phase was done, the next phase would begin with no more than a day or two in between. He was very pleasant and very patient with my many questions and concerns and kept me up-to-date with what was happening. The project that I most dreaded, the house plumbing re-piping, was not as bad as I thought it would be, to my great relief. All of the people who I dealt with at Ybarra were pleasant and professional, from the sub-contractors to the office staff. I think the quality of the work performed was very good. In the additional clean-up phase, the holes in the drywall where the plumbing had been re-piped were patched and painted, and the concrete where the driveway had to be cut to replace the main water line was re-poured. This portion of the project was available as an additional cost, but the workmanship was very good. I had heard and read many horror stories about dealing with contractors so working with this group was a pleasant surprise. Thank you, Vlad."

"Very professional, reasonable pricing, quotes were right on target. Excellent craftsmanship and assisted with the selection of the materials required."

"I needed to get a fixture and switches replaced in my house. I contacted Steve and he responded quickly saying he would be in my area in a day or two. He came by and did a professional job at a reasonable price. With demand for electricians so high, its difficult to get electrical work done on a timely basis. I highly recommend Steve and will hire him again when the occasion requires it."
