"Our job was a first-class operation from start to finish. After the break was repaired, Armando ran a camera and found lots of standing water. He recommended hydroflushing the pipe, which cleaned out a lot of roots, and then he was able to see further up the line, and found an even worse break. After digging up more cement and excavating more pipe, they realized that they had to undo the first repair and replace about 10 feet of the pipe. Armando also recommended that we install a two-way clean-out near the house, which would be set flush into the new cement, and would make dealing with any future problems much easier. All the workers were polite and friendly, and did excellent, careful, and thorough work, despite the 100-degree plus heat. Armando is especially outstanding: he is very knowledgeable and experienced; he explained things very well; and he kept in good communication with us about when the workers were coming (they were always on time). He applies himself to the work with energy and enthusiasm, and treats the customer with consideration and warmth. When the job turned out to be much more complicated, Armando gave us a fair price for the additional work, and also gave us a discount for using Angie’s List. I cannot remember a better experience with a home repair contractor!"

"Matt, the owner of Platinum Plumbing, was the first to respond to my request for a plumber, the most knowledgeable and reasonably priced. The job was a challenge because I live in a small two story townhome where the tank water heater was located on the first floor in a kitchen closet that I want to convert into a food pantry. I wanted the tankless water heater to go on the other side of the closet wall by my washer and dryer. Two additional plumbing companies looked at the project. One gave me an extremely high estimate which included work that wasn't necessary and the other said it couldn't be done because of venting problems through the second story. Matt was the only person who knew how to assess the job without the need for extraneous costs and knowledgeable enough to solve the venting issues. He knew exactly what tankless water heater brand would best fit my needs and used quality materials to do the job. Matt was prompt, courteous and extremely professional. He worked diligently until the job was done - which was faster than expected - and cleaned all the areas he worked in. Matt takes great pride in his workmanship which is a rare quality these days. "This company was amazing. Mike showed up well within the time frame they had promised to diagnose and start repairs. I had one toilet where the water wouldn't stop running, the other where the tank wouldn't fill and a shower faucet that wouldn't stop dripping. I actually only called them to fix the toilet that wouldn't fill up, but when I asked about the other items Mike said he could absolutely do them.
The whole experience was enjoyable. Mike was very pleasant, professional and informative and went out of his way to explain what he was doing and also checked to make sure I wanted to proceed with repairs before just doing them (not all contractors will do that). He was very efficient and had everything done in about an hour or so. I was expecting the price to be a lot more than it was, so whenI saw the bill I was pleasantly surprised.
I have made it a goal to build up a list of trusted, reliable and honest contractors, and I have just found my future contractor for all plumbing needs. I will absolutely recommend The Plumbing Therapist (especially Mike) to all my friends. A+ experience for sure.

"Dependable is their name and it speaks volumes. They were here the very next day for my toilet valve leak after waiting a week for my home warranty company to reschedule another technician. Dependable sent Taylor, who jumped out of his truck with an immediate smile. He was absolutely personable, respectful and professional. Immediately put me at ease. He evaluated my needs and gave me repair/replacement options for my immediate situation to get me through the night and we'll do the main fix in the next day or 2. With 3 bathrooms, I've put off for too long, other repairs or replacements that we will tackle next. He, again, gave me options to consider and timeframes to get these jobs done and working again. It's very easy to close off extra bathrooms and not use them for awhile when something breaks or doesn't work quite right. I may have to update this review after we complete everything, but most likely, it'll be to my liking. For promptness, I'll most certainly refer Dependable Rooter & Plumbing to my friends and neighbors. For service, if they're anything like my technician, I would highly recommend them."
