"Fred was very communicative and flexible in helping me, my landlord and my fellow tenants work out the solution for adding a new 220V circuit and isolating some of my circuitry from the panel in my neighboring tenants office!. After understanding a relatively complex set of issues quickly he provided a fair estimate and proceeded with the job to fit the schedule of my neighbors to avoid interrupting their service by working on a Saturday. Fred arrived fully equipped and was able to finish the job in one day to my specifications and well done! Amber Electric Service is my new go to electrician. I am very pleased!"

"As other reviews have stated the office staff is not responsive. I called on February 1st and was told the estimator was not available and I would receive a return call. I waited 8 days without a call so I called again. The receptionist "Candice" was able to find my information but did not offer any explanation as to why nobody called. She said that they could have somebody out this afternoon and that it would be $185 for 2 hours of troubleshooting and any repair so I agreed. I mentioned Angie's List and the coupon on the page that was for electrical - $20 off service of $150 or more. She told me it was an old coupon for solar. I explained it said electrical then she said it was expired so I told her there was no date on it. Finally she said they were not part of Angie's List anymore and that they would not honor the coupon. Kylar and Keith were the 2 technicians who came. Kylar called ahead and told me when they expected to be here. They were punctual and friendly. They determined that it was not the breaker but that there was a short in one of the wires leading to the breaker. Unfortunately they were not able to determine where the wire ran so they just disconnected the wire that was causing the breaker to trip. (In their defense I had not been able to find any plugs or switches that were not working since the breaker had tripped). They handled the other issue quickly as well. I was happy Keith and Kylar but disappointed in the poor response from the office staff and the refusal to honor the coupon."

"Don't hesitate to hire Emrom Electric however complicated a job you are considering. There is no construction or design problem too difficult or detailed for Emrom to solve! We are more than happy with the new mast, wires, fixtures and switches installed by Emrom with economy and skill. The Emrom people cheerfully worked under the house and in our tiny attic to accomplish some very challenging parts of the job. The whole project was truly an upgrade in every sense of the word. Our house is over 75 years old and now has the safety and comfort of a new electrical system without in any way diminishing its charm. "Anthony did a great job. He was 10 minutes after 2pm (our agreed upon time to meet) but he texted me to let me know, which I appreciated. There were at least three separate moments during the installation of the Sense electrical monitor where I felt like he had completed the work sufficiently, but he went back and redid it because he wasn't happy with the quality and felt it could be done better and felt compelled to do the best he could. It ended up taking him longer than he expected but he didn't feel it was fair to charge me extra for that time. Anthony was knowledgeable and conscientious. I will definitely hire him again the next time I need an electrician. Thanks Anthony!"
