"I was glad with how fast, friendly, easy it went for me to turn it in and get results quickly. They helped with my Angie's discount so it was good to know i got the best price (less than I imagined) to have this done. The possibility of having mold in a house is stressful enough... glad to have this go smoothly."

"Isidro responded immediately with a cost estimate. He wanted to beat the winter storm that was coming so the leak would not become worse. When he arrived, he immediately went up on the roof, found the problem, took pictures, and explained what he would do. After finishing the boot installation, he walked the roof and brought pictures of 3-4 other areas that needed sealant. I was very impressed with his professionalism, thoroughness, and genuine desire to be of service."

"I found them very professional and quick to help.  I have to give them good marks for that, But when I asked about repair, the would not give an estimate.  They said "whatever the insurance pays should cover it."  I found that similar to the scene from the movie Vacation, with Chevy Chase.  He has his car repaired by the only place to be found in the middle of the desert.  Chevy's character asks, "how much do I owe you?"  the owner replies, "How much you got?" Get the idea? <br />   I found that rather underhanded and not professional.  If they wanted to remain professional, they should have said, "I normally charge X dollars, but if insurance does not cover it, we can work with you."  That would have been better.  Because of that, I used others on the repairs.   <br /> The clean up was great though.   <br />"

"The owner helped us with understanding this new ionizer technology and had to be contacted again about placing them in a better place in the HVAC system to increase ion output into the living space.  The ionizers are a bit pricey for such small units.  They help to kill germs in the home and remove new house construction VOCS, but we were disappointed that they did not remove all of the fumes. One email was not returned, but overall we had a good experience."

FAQs for toxicity and mold removal projects in Elkhorn City, KY

Remediation should keep mold from returning as long as the moisture source is eliminated. Fix leaks, control humidity, and replace water-damaged materials, then schedule periodic inspections to stay ahead of new growth. With those safeguards, your home can stay mold-free for the long haul while protecting both health and property value.

Most pros recommend leaving the home while they work on mold remediation. Removing mold stirs up airborne spores that can aggravate respiratory issues, and contractors can work more efficiently in an empty space. A short, temporary relocation keeps everyone in your family safe and lets the crew finish the job without interruption.

Mold shouldn’t return once the moisture problem is fixed. Stay vigilant: repair leaks right away, keep humidity below 50 percent with a dehumidifier placed in damp areas, and improve ventilation where needed. Routine checks for leaks and mold and quick repairs go a long way toward keeping your home mold-free.

Mold spores can trigger nasal congestion, throat irritation, coughing, wheezing, eye irritation, or skin rashes. People with asthma, allergies, or weakened immune systems often feel the effects sooner and more intensely. Some molds also release mycotoxins linked to serious respiratory or neurological issues. Swift remediation and better ventilation are the best defenses.
