"Patio Enclosures was fantastic, the subcontractors that came to do the job were not. However, Patio Enclosures sent two Field Supervisors over to spend and entire day addressing all of our concerns. Overall, their customer service is what made us happy with this project and we absolutely love our 3-season room!"

"As a new home owner, I am more the thrilled by the high quality of work done by Indian Summer Pool and Spa. I called Doug Fender (one of the owners), who made an immediate appointment with me to discus my plans to expand my patio, along with three other companies. Doug when through all available options, costs and expectations on the job I wanted done. Not only did he have a great team of employee's show up on time, they had everything organized from ground prep, rock deliver, concrete delivery, and temporary fencing down to the minute. I was very impressed with the owners showing up to make sure that I as a home owner was happy with each step of the process and that every employee was very efficient and knew their area of expertise. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing work done on a project you want done right. Just a note not only did the come in on budget, but the other companies I called did not have any where the game plans or explain the details of what to expect. This is a company you will be happy with."

"I felt like the price was reasonable. <br /> The people that came out and gave the estimate were very efficient. They knew what they were talking about and had several products to display. When they actually came out to do the installation, they came out in 2 different work groups. One started 2 hours ahead of the other one and they began pulling the old windows. The next group came in behind them and started putting the new ones in. They went around the house and they had it done in a single days time, so that part was convenient. Of course, the window product they don't manufacture themselves but I was very pleased with them. They are triple pane glass. We live in an area that gets extreme rains and temperatures, high heat in the summer and extreme cold in the winter and they have done an excellent job in having insulating abilities. The installation seemed very good, I haven't had any leaks or any problems with the windows or anything. I am very pleased with the services. I was very pleased with the price. I didn't feel that it was out of line with any other company I could have went with. They came when they said they would give an estimate. The estimate was in line. When they said they would do the work, they were here and did it. They followed up by checking up to see if I was happy with the work."

"Company worked closely with us on the design, turned out better than we ever expected. They did several little touches to the project that were simply amazing. On time every day rain or shine. Workmanship top notch. We are hiring them again for more projects. Very honest and very reliable. We are a firm believer that you get what you pay for and we are 100% satisfied on what we paid for."

"Mr. Ekhause arrived promptly at the appointed time.  He was very professional and began his work as soon as he had explained <br /> to me how he works and what he would be doing and approximately how long it would take.  I wanted my home inspected <br /> because I plan to put it on the market soon, and I want it to be in pristine condition, with no surprises when it is seen by <br /> potential buyers.  He examinined the house from the roof to the basement and foundation, taking numerous pictures and <br /> making notes at each stage.  Occasionally he had questions and gave me a quick report of what he was seeing (or not seeing) and then he quickly got back to work.  My home is fairly large, so it took approximately 3.5 to 4 hours to complete his <br /> inspection.  He then explained to me exactly what he would do with the data he had collected and told me he would have <br /> the report ready for me within a day.  He was as prompt with the report as with the inspection....all very professional and <br /> VERY comprehensive.  The report was extremely informational and he made great suggestions when some action was required <br /> on my part to bring everything up to par. <br /> The report is very easy to understand, and the pictures help to illustrate what he is talking about.  I couldn't be happier.  I <br /> feel he did an outstanding job, and I plan to engage his services when I begin a remodeling job on another house I purchased. <br /> I can highly recommend Marc Ekhause. <br />"

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Elkland, MO

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
