"I had Lindus back out do a home makeover for me and they did just that. I had them do my Leaf Guard in 2019. Mitch happened to be my sales guy for both projects and his kindness and honesty is what made me go with Lindus in the first place. Josh in the office who took care of all my scheduling is a saint. He dealt with all my calls and questions with a smile on his face. I was anxious to get the work started and he assured me the time line. Now the group of guys who did my windows (I forgot their names) far exceeded my expectations. They worked their magic and had them all installed in 2 days. They made sure every single window was installed properly and with no damage to my old house. They were even kind enough to hang a few curtain rods and also were kind to my cats who wanted to be in the way. Now my siding crew was also just as great as the window guys. They had a bigger job and did it all with a smile on their faces. The tear off was a messy job but they got everything cleaned up and wrapped in 2 days. When the siding started to go up they ran in to some winter weather but still keep working which was great. There supervisor Brandon was great to work with. He was always so easy to speak to and made sure all my questions and concerns were answered. Zach was one of the guys who worked on my project and I believe he had been doing this soe quite some time and he was very helpful as well. He even showed up on a Saturday to get all was caulking done (all while misting and cold out). Brandon and Zach's expertise helped me decide to go without all the trim around my windows as it would have been to much and for that I thank them. These 2 were also kind enough to hang my address sign project (which was heavy) and this just completed the house. The gutter guys did a quick tear off and install and it was like they never came off. The electricians who helped on my project were great as well. I want to thank Lindus for all their wonderful employees and the job they did. They took away my d and outdated home and dropped in a new and improved house."

"<p>The job took one evening and we had to schedule another half a Saturday, but that was due to weather and beyond Terry's control. He safely climbed some very tall trees to cut down dead branches. While trimming our big oaks, he was careful to paint the spots where he'd removed branches to prevent oak wilt from infiltrating our trees. When cutting of a particularly large branch, Terry would tie it off so that it could be safely lowered with a rope by his helper to avoid damage to our deck or its railings. Even my dogs loved Terry and his helpers! Terry knows a lot about trees and we were confident in his knowledge and abilities.<br /> <br /></p> <br />"

"Jon was great to work with. He had creative ways of solving problems and keeping us from spending a lot of money on things not so important. He was very careful about matching up pieces of weathered wood in our rec room. I had a series of small requests for him after the main project was done to keep the house looking good, and he was very accommodating in his scheduling to help us successfully sell the house."

"I found NewDay here and they were fantastic to work with. Kurt was always fast to respond, honest with his estimate, and worked fast and the results are great. I felt more than safe letting them use my key while I was off to work. Two rooms of ceiling work, tons of wall repair/patching, and carpet removal only took them 2 days. I'd absolutely work with them again."

"The service was excellent! They arrived to pick up the vehicle a day earlier which was great. They delivered the vehicle right to my daughter's door and found a side street to unload. The service was delivered within the time frame given. All of my questions were answered via phone or email and the paperwork was seamless and the price was very reasonable."

"My mailbox fell apart and could not be repaired. It needed a new post and everything. This occurred the first week of December and although the ground was not yet frozen, I was concerned that it could soon become frozen.  This is Wisconsin, after all. I called all the highly rated handyman providers, and they all were booked for at least two weeks and some were busy through January or February. I decided to take a chance on Property Image, even though they had only a few reviews. The entire process went really well. They could not set up an available date for three days or so, but they communicated with me so I knew they were coming. I also could not be there during the work, which was not a problem for them. They offered to buy a new mailbox for me, but I wanted to choose one myself. I bought one (they purchased a post), and left it on my front porch in the morning. I came home that evening and it was installed perfectly, just the right distance from the street, level and sturdy in the ground. The landscaping around the post looked like it was barely touched. They billed me about a week later. It all worked out and I love my new mailbox <br />"

FAQs for shed, barn or playhouse repair projects in Ellsworth, WI

You’ll know it’s time for a new shed roof if shingles curl or buckle, soft spots sag, or water stains appear inside. Moss or other plant growth on the surface is another red flag that moisture has breached the roofing layers. Replacing the roof quickly stops leaks from spreading, protects stored items, and saves you from costlier structural repairs down the road.

Choosing between a flat and a sloped shed roof comes down to climate, budget, and upkeep. A flat roof is cheaper up front, but still needs a slight pitch for drainage. A sloped roof sheds rain and snow more easily, lasts longer, and often needs less maintenance. Weigh your local weather patterns, the look you want, and how much time you’re willing to spend on upkeep before deciding.

A shed roof’s life span hinges on the material you choose and how well you maintain it. Most standard products last 15 to 30 years, while premium picks like slate or clay tile can protect the structure for 50 to 100 years. Regular inspections, fast fixes, and routine cleaning all help you reach the upper end of those ranges and keep your tools and gear dry year-round.
