"They did an excellent job. They were honest, and hardworking installing our central air and furnace. That's not even the best part a strong power surge happened in our area while on vacation. They tried their best to fix it while we were gone . They replaced circuit boards but two more were affected. They kept us updated. Shipping made it so it wasn't fixed when we got home but as soon as the parts got here they came. Then the power in our area went out so they couldn't finish . Chester himself came as soon as the power came on and stayed until it was fixed. He had to take the circuit board back to suppler because it was shipped without being programmed ( flashed) so he went and got a device to do it himself.The point is he stayed a long time in extreme heat which he didn't have too. We are extremely grateful to Chester and his crew. We highly recommend this company for being professional, trustworthy and doing a fantastic job."

"Well our saga continues.. My husband and I had another great job done by Goods Electric. This time Dannie and Jon came to work on our project. Both were extremely delightful to work with. In our first review, Goods Electric came to work on our 2nd floor duplex. This time they were working on both duplexes. The project list contained installing a stronger ventilation fan in the 2nd floor bathroom and taking the replaced vent fan and installing in the first floor bathroom. This also required placing the new vent to the outside, which meant they had drill through the brick side since the roof was out of the question. We live in an historic house so we were afraid our outside would have this big ugly vent cover ruining the exterior look. Dannie found a small cover that blends well with the brick and you can't even really see it! We had some coax cable run to various rooms, a surge protector put on the first floor electric panel, and 2-prong outlets switched to 3-prongs. Another issue we came up with was the old wiring and we wanted to make sure all outlets were protected since my mom was moving in with us. Rewiring was way too expensive and our old wiring was in good condition, so Dannie suggested having GFI-protected breakers installed to cover the old wiring. We had that done in both panels and now we feel much safer knowing that the outlets, as well as the wiring in the walls, are protected as best as they can be. Again, all of this was made possible with Clarissa doing outstanding customer service! I would also like to mention how Dannie and all other Goods employees keep things very clean & even by using booties on their footwear. I think that shows how much they care about our property. We have another project in the works currently for replacing outside lighting and will also write about that after it's completed. They are just the best company to work with and we can't wait to get started on our next project. As a side note & we saw them at the 2017 HBA Home & Garden show in February and signed up (without hesitation) for their new Good Club which covers all heating and cooling needs. We knew they were starting a program and happily joined. Our first appointments for checking our furnaces and air conditioners will coming up in the next couple months and will also write about that. "I had a power outage in the back of my house that has two refrigerators. I called to electrical contractors in Warren. The first one I left a voice mail then called the emergency number and left a message there. After about an hour I didn't hear from him so I called the next number I had and left a message he called back a little while later told him what I had and he tried to blow it off to the electric company. I had tried to see what the problem was myself when I got to the point I didn't know what was wrong. I went to Angie's List then Home Advisor. Fifteen minutes later I get a call from Good's. I told her what I had and we scheduled the appointment. The tech called me on the morning of the appointment and said he was on his way. When he arrived I told what I had and what I did. He looked at my panel and said it was an old one which I knew because its the same panel that's been there since I was a kid. He said he could get me going again and he'd give a couple of options on what I could do. He told me that I was going to have to replace that old panel because if I decided to sell the house I'd have to bring it up to code. I had a choice of replacing everything from the top of the house to the panel in the basement which included putting the wiring in conduit or not. I chose to have the wiring in conduit replacing the meter box and the breaker panel box. We scheduled the appointment and that morning he called to tell me he was on the way. When he got there he and his partner went right to work taking out the old wiring the meter box and old panel out. They replaced everything including putting conduit up for the wiring and a new 100 amp panel. I have to tell you that the only way you know they have been here is because of the new equipment they installed because they cleaned up all the old equipment and hauled it away. I am very appreciative of the customer service and professionalism I was shown by the techs. I will be using them from now on and recommend them to anyone who needs electrical heating or AC work. I can't say enough good things about them."

After a consultation we were pleasantly surprised that our 3 story home with no duct work had a full install of central air. No more window units!! The install happened shortly after the consult and was done in a very timely manner . He was informative from day one explaining all the work that was involved . "CHW was very responsive to our urgent need! We filed a claim the evening prior when we notices our A/C was blowing warm air into the rooms. Then by 8AM the next day, we had a call from the service technician saying he was on his way to address the issue! CHW worked with the technician to find out the compressor was the culprit and approved it's repair! Great customer service for a family in need during the hot south central Texas summer!"
