"My experience was first rate all the way. The bad news was the repair work I needed was extensive. 100 year old house with original mortar in the chimney that had been damaged and needed to be removed and relined. Nick, the technician who worked on the project was excellent - communicated well and answered my questions. He and the assistant with him worked hard in difficult weather conditions, up and down the ladder to the roof and hauling heavy loads. The work was done with amazingly little dust inside and everything was cleaned up after so you'd never know major work had been done. Highly recommend Lindemann and Nick in particular for the expertise, professionalism and a great job."

"We split our project into two separate projects and Butler Chimney's did a great job with both parts! Last year they replaced our wood burning insert in the living room and added a chimney liner. This Summer we had them come back and re-brick the chimney exterior. Remove old brick, remove 2 old flues that were not being used any more, re brick, pour a new concrete crown, and put a new stainless steel cap over the whole thing. Everything looks great and customer service has always been top notch."

"I asked them to do a routine chimney cleaning. Even though it was during their busy season, making an appointment was quick and easy with the friendly phone staff.The technicians were right on time, had good communication skills, and conducted themselves professionally. They did a complimentary safety check and found that my chimney crown was cracked and leaking. I appreciated this very much as addressing this problem now will save me greater expense and repairs in the long run. I only have 2 minor complaints. One was that the newly trained technician saw what he thought might have been a installation mistake and spoke to me about his concern before he checked with his boss - it was not a problem, but I had already become a quite concerned about it. Also I had to do some clean up on the hearth exterior - they left soot on it. But, overall I was very pleased with them!"

"The back of my fireplace was broken. I fearedd I had an expensive and messy situation ahead of me. Chimney concepts answered my email within a day, they scheduled me three weeks out because they were so busy, however they put me on a cancellation list. Within the week I received a call they came late plastic out cut the fire board installed it and cleaned up perfectly with in an hours time. It only cost me $195! which was a major relief to me. Michael did not leave a trace dirt. He put plastic on the floor and went to work. I recommend these people highly. I will be coming back to them for new fireplace glass doors. "We took advantage of Quality Fireplace ‘s Spring chimney inspection special (and, ultimately for repair work done, Angie's List 5% off coupon) and were glad we did. Ray did the inspection and cleaning, found some significant cracks and crumbling and missing mortar in both the smoke chamber and the flue. Ray spent a lot of time with us, showing us not just the pictures that he took, but having us watch the screen as he maneuvered his 360 degree camera inside the chimney. He explained the repair options, without any pressure to do repairs at all, left us with information about the repairs and gave us a detailed estimate. We decided to go with the PCR, HeatShield joint repair and Parge smoke chamber repair options. Ryan and Johnny came to do the PCR– they were professional, personable, very efficient and careful to clean up. Ryan returned a couple of days later with Jeremy and spent most of a day doing the smoke chamber and flue repairs. We could not have been more pleased than we were with both of them. They were a pleasure to work with, clearly knew what they were doing and patiently answered all of our questions. Again, we were struck by their professionalism and efficiency and the way they took care to protect our floors and furniture as they did their work. The work we had done was not inexpensive but we feel confident that it was necessary and done well. We are happy with the 20 year warranty and confident that Quality Fireplace will stand behind their work should any problems arise."
