"CNM did a fabulous job. We had had a flood in our bathroom and the entire room had to be replaced. We were out of town and we hired Matt and Jose from CNM on the recommendation of a friend. We did not meet them in person until the end of the job. We communicated via text,email and phone. Our building is 100 years old so major upgrading was required and it had to be updated to match NYC building codes. CNM helped navigate us through getting the required permits. When we finally met Jose and Matt at the end of the job we could not be more delighted. The bathroom was beautiful and exactly what we wanted. Thank you Jose and Matt"

"I hired Long Island handyman construction group to remodel a 400sf basement and bathroom in Melville. They were priced in the middle compared to other bids. I picked them thanks to their out of the box advice which saved me thousands of dollars. There was one problem with the plumbing which cost an extra 1800 dollars. The owner settled with me 50/50 even though it was a pre-existing issue. The project was started early and completed early. All mess was cleaned up and the crew was very friendly and fully aware. He and his assistant arrived on time both days, took great care to protect our floors and bathroom, and even vacuumed our ceiling vent for us. His prices are on the high side, but we're thrilled with the result and would work with him again."

"It went very well. Inson always focused on the highest quality products that would fit the design. Also tried to get each item at the better price. Additionally he was meticulous with the project and **** ** the vendors to make no mistakes and focus on a quality outcome. Finally Inson and his team were diligent to make sure everything was constructed in the right manner. In our case the proper wiring and safest plumbing. Always relied on master builders and plumbers who new what they were doing. The final outcome was above expectations. I would keep in mind any project like ours will cost money - we spent extra with Inson but in the end it was the right thing to do and well worth it."

"I used TKT Remodeling Group LLC for a complete basement remodeling. Treon had wonderful ideas about ways to make my basement function more efficiently. He was the only contractor who took the time to discuss ways to remodel the basement that made sense (e.g., moving the bathroom and closet) into spaces that increased our living space. Treon and his crew are friendly, respectful, punctual, professional, and responsive. He even surprised me with a new, functioning fireplace. I wish I had taken before and after pictures. I was able to go to work and leave the workers alone in my home with no problems. Even after my basement project was completed, I called Treon with questions, and he responded quickly. I highly recommend him and will use him again."

"I had the unfortunate experience of receiving a notice of sidewalk violation from the NYC Department of Transportation (DOT) on 10/16/19 for having 116 feet of damaged concrete sidewalk that included broken slabs, trip hazards, improper slope and patchwork, in front of my house. I was rather upset by the high cost of most estimates I received. In frustration I contacted Home Advisor.Com for the first time. As a result I received a phone call from Tarsem Singh (Sunny) the owner of Novelty Construction Company who asked for a copy of the DOT PIR (Preliminary notice of inspection, which is the DOT description of damage). Sunny immediately phoned me back with a price, significantly lower than my other estimates and emailed a succinct contract Indicating he would remove and replace the damaged concrete with 4 inches of 4000PSI concrete, obtain the DOT permit with a guarantee that he would fix at no additional cost if the if the DOT did not approve of his work. I did not know this gentleman and had no personal recommendations about his work. Nevertheless, I chose him , not just he had the lowest price, but due to his calm, confident, trustworthy manner. It also helped that Home Advisor checked he was licensed and insured., and that there were many excellent reviews of his work on Home Advisor.com. After Sunny ,his brother and one other gentleman removed the damaged concrete, and placed reinforcement concrete wire over the walkway a commercial cement truck arrived to deliver the concrete, which Sunny paid for our of his own pocket. Sunny did not ask for payment until the job was completed. My wife and I are very pleased by his excellent workmanship. Sunny advised me to immediately call 311 to dismiss the violation from the DOT. Finally, after 46 days DOT came by to inspect the work. 12 days later I received a sidewalk dismissal inspection notice indicating that Sunny's work passed inspection. and that the violation will be removed from the Queens County Clerks records. I would highly recommend Sunny if you need any concrete work done on your property. Note, the long delays for the violation dismissal had nothing to do with Novelty Construction but were due to DOT being very back up with their work."
