After I gave <br /> him the go ahead and the agreed up front money he told me when he would <br /> start. He started on time and did a very good job. Jeff, the salesman I dealt with was attentive without being overwhelming and the first order was delivered in about 4 weeks. The windows were exactly what I was looking for and fitting them was a breeze. I followed up with another order for the remaining 13 windows in my porch and again, they arrived quickly, were of great quality, exactly to size and easy to fit. "Fantastic! Connie and Greg Thompson and their team are the absolute best at what they do. They are on time, super responsive, and obsessed with perfection! We've never seen anyone work so hard to get the job done RIGHT. We have a huge kitchen that needed a significant update and they worked with us from initial planning to final wall color choices. Connie worked with us to keep costs down and that allowed us to put the money toward granite counter tops and a custom island. Connie is the quality control expert and she came by everyday to ensure that the subs were there on time and doing their job right. She even picked up things that we didn't notice and made the guys come back to fix it to her standards! Greg is like "McGyver", he can come up with a solution to anything and worked a miracle when my custom granite island top arrived with the center cooktop cut out wrong. The stone company thought the stone was a total loss but Greg came up with a solution that saved the entire piece by fabricating a metal strip to hold up both the cooktop and the pop up vent (and you can't even see it). That was a miracle because we could not reorder that specific granite and the stone company was so relieved and thrilled with his work that they paid him for his work and have actually asked him to help them on other "problem" projects. Greg and Connie run a family business and they are absolutely committed to quality service. They kept us updated at every step, we never had to worry about surprise costs, their subs were fantastic, and they always cleaned up after themselves so it minimized the pain of living in a construction zone. This is the third major project that they've done for us and we continue to be so impressed with their service and expertise (and we have very high expectations!). Our kitchen is absolutely stunning and every suggestion they made turned out to be the best decision ever! We trust them implicitly and will continue to use them for every other future project!"

"I called Quantum to come give me a price for replacing my roof.  They sent out Gerry Nemet to take a look at the scope of work.  After spending some time up on the roof, he came down with pictures of what he had found.  I had no idea that I had storm damage!  He said that he only has people file claims that have real damage and explained that there are many people filing false claims and driving up the insurance costs.  Although he could not make any promises, he was very confident that it would be approved and I would only have to pay my $1000 deductible to have my entire roof replaced. <br /> Gerry told me exactly what to do and was here to meet with the insurance adjuster.  They walked the roof and around the house together.  Just as Gerry had said, there was considerable damage to the shingles.  Damage that could not be seen from the ground.  The roof was approved! <br /> I was able to take some of the money that I had planned on spending on a roof, and get gutters, gutter guards and my deck redone.  All the work done by Quantum. <br /> They did not take any payment up front and were done in three days.  As promised.  Gerry was very helpful with picking out the color and explaining all of the insurance paperwork.  It was a very quick and easy experience.  On top of everything else, they gave me a 10 year, no leak warranty on their work.  This was in addition to the shingle warranty. <br /> Thank you Angie's List.  Without you, I would have spent a fortune on a new roof and definitely would not have found Quantum Renovations! <br />"

"<p>The new deck and screened porch area installed  by Lee Kingrey and his crew at Alabama Decks is light years ahead of what I had before. No comparison...The crew was amazingly fast but thorough..they have their skills down to a science. My project was probably 90% complete in two days. ( I was fortunate enough to have great weather). The only thing they had left to do at the end of day 2 was to complete the screening on the porch, install the door,  add a few more rails on the staircase and remove the rest of the old deck debris. I am thrilled with the results. an area I previously avoided ( and would have hidden from guests) because it was too small, cramped and not in great shape is now one of the best features of my home. "We researched 2-3 local general construction companies and Pickett Construction was the most engaged and reasonably priced. Our lead contractor was well organized and kept the project on task despite us not setting any hard deadlines for completion. He listened well to our requests and did his best to meet our needs. We communicated on a daily basis and often multiple times by text message and emails. Our lead person was quick to respond and would come onsite regularly and on an as needed basis. The crew was professional and courteous. We felt safe with them in our home while we were at work. With any construction, there will be miscommunication or issues that arise. Our lead person was always quick to address any concerns or issues, either with the crew correcting the issue or redoing the work to our liking. Our lead and his crew anticipated needs based on their experience (e.g. placement of light switches, plugs, etc.) and kept us abreast of daily progress. We would highly recommend Pickett Construction for any of our future remodeling needs. <br />"
