"Our brick ranch house was in need of TLC on the old fiber board siding, which my wife and I have painted four times ourselves. We wanted to make the exterior maintenance free with a good quality vinyl siding. We contacted five separate companies, four of which were listed in Angie’s list, to get estimates. We chose The Home Improvement Co. They were neither the highest nor the lowest estimate. We based our decision on the reviews in Angie’s list, pictures of the work that had been accomplished on other jobs, and Matt’s straight forward honest presentation. Matt convinced us that one of the most important details of this work is an experienced crew that knows how to work with the material. We had chosen the insulated backed vinyl siding. The crew (Kevin and Rueben) and Matt arrived Friday and started the demolition on the west side of the house. We were having all the old siding removed and replaced with new board, moisture barrier, and the vinyl siding. They completed that side including cleanup in one day. The whole job was completed by the following Friday. The crew was great. They were friendly and professional, and they worked well together as a team. They answered any question we had and honored any request we made. They also wrapped all the windows and doors with aluminum coil. They transformed the exterior of our home. We are completely satisfied. We comment to each other every time we pull into the driveway how good our home looks now. We still plan on replacement windows and a new back door. The Home Improvement Co. will be first on our list for consideration. Thank you, Matt, Kevin, and Rueben, for a job well done."

"They did the installation while we were on vacation so we didn't observe the job but the resulte were excellent. we love the new surface which cleans to like new with simple rinse off even after the winter's dirt accumulation. "I own a house built in 1925 that previous owners left in very poor shape. I'm in the process of remodeling it. I met with Gary, Federal's owner, and immediately liked and trusted him. We talked about what kind of windows I wanted and the price range. He demonstrated a model of the one he recommened. I agreed. We met and I signed the contract and gave him a key to the house so I wouldn't have to be there. The installers came, and measured the windows. It took a few weeks for the new windows to arrive from the manufacturer, which gave me time to clear areas of construction materials for the installers to work. Federal called on a Monday to say they wanted to begin the installation on Wednesay. By Wednesday night they had all of the windows installed except for the basement, which were by far the worst. These windows had rusted metal frame set in concrete and to make matters worse the previous owner had used foam insulation to try to keep them from leaking. They were very difficult to remove. The installers completed the job on Thursday and I couldn't be more please. They did an excellent job and the new windows are perfect."

"We renovated our kitchen this year, and I shopped around various elements to get the best value for my dollar.
I had two other area companies come out and give me estimates for cabinets, but their prices were high and I wasn't particularly impressed with their proposals. One company said I'd be without a fully-functional kitchen for up to 4 weeks...what? Why??). I also compared prices at the big-box stores and even online cabinet retailers.
I found a solid surface countertop fabricator in the metro (Premier Surfaces) and was impressed with them, so I asked if they knew of any good sources for cabinets. They referred me to Limpus, and after seeing many positive reviews on Angie's List, we decided to make the drive to the other side of town to their showroom.
We were impressed with the type of cabinets they offered, the price, and the no-pressure/no-nonsense sales team. We had a representative from Limpus come out to take exact measurements, and we went back to the showroom to place our order. I had draft and final renderings sent to me via email as well.
The crew of 5 guys showed up at my house a little before 9 a.m., removed my old counters and cabinets, disconnected the microwave/dishwasher, installed my new cabinets and reconnected the microwave and dishwasher (minus the plumbing). They also connected the under-mount light fixtures to the existing wiring. They were done with everything by 3 p.m. the same day. 
If I bought laminate counter tops, they could have installed them today as well. Since we're getting solid surface, there is a week delay for the template and fabrication. Once the counters are in, Limpus will send a plumber to connect the faucet, disposal and dishwasher later that day.
Josh, the guy who processed my order in the showroom and designed our cabinet selections to fit the space, was a member of the installation crew. Actually, I saw and spoke with several members of the crew in the showroom as well.
Rather than subcontract out the labor, they do it themselves. They truly understand their product and stand behind it. How many companies do it this way? I love it.
My cost of materials was $5,689, which included two cabinets with glass fronts (and an interior stain to match the exterior for that cabinet). These are maple cabinets with crown molding on top and an extra trim piece on the bottom to help hide our under-mount light fixtures. Some cabinets are 36" tall and I have a few 42" tall cabinets as well.
The price also included cabinet hardware. My labor charges were $1584, and this includes plumbing work.
I was impressed with Limpus from the initial contact to the installation. They're professional and just plain nice people. No pressure, no games. Just an honest, hard-working family company.
The price of materials was very reasonable. It would have been more expensive at other area companies and big-box stores. The labor charges were quite fair. 
Beyond price and quality, I totally appreciate how the demo and installation took place in one day. 
I'd absolutely recommend Limpus for any project. I'm trying to think of any constructive criticism I could offer -- and I've got nothing here. Well done!

"Filed a homeowners claim for storm damage to roof, siding , gutters on exterior of home, and leak damage to interior drywall.  Obtained estimates from several contractors in the area, to which I must add there are many varieties out there to choose from.  I was very impressed with Jordon Roofing's price, quality of work, and professionalism.  Don was on time to every appointment with myself and/or the insurance adjuster, and prompt in providing documentation necessary to keep the process moving.  Don did great working with my insurance company in getting the claim approved and processed.  Don Jordan is definitely an honest guy you can trust.

As far as the actual work, Jordan Roofing was very committed to doing the job right!  This storm damaged every home on my street.  I saw work performed by several different contractors in the area, and all I can say is it really pays to do your research when hiring a contractor.  Jordan Roofing provided the best quality in materials and workmanship out of all the contractors that completed work on my street. This was the only contractor that added drip-edge in replacing the roof, and at the same price as other contractors.  Don also provided upgrades to siding and gutters at no additional charge.
