"I've used John in the past and have never had a bad experience. This time he patched up some dry wall that came off when I took down some M3 tape. He sanded the wall down, covered the holes, and repainted the spots. Looks like there was never an issue. As always, great price and friendly, professional customer service!

"Choice Home Warranty presents their company as the best home warranty. The sales pitch I received on the phone multiple times and in my countless e-mails that they sent. The information stated that repairs are done at times on the same day. I did purchase the warranty in June 2023. I called for my first service on July 21st. When my washer was draining the water my kitchen sink filled up with the water the washer was draining. I was then told that the job is sent out and we wait 24-48 hours for the response with an appointment. So I waited and followed up with a call to Choice. I was told no one had accepted the job. I received a phone call from Falcon Plumbing asking if I still needed service? I said yes!! The service was scheduled on July 26th. That is 5 days after my request for service. Not the same day not right away 5 days later. The young man that came out was very efficient . He cleared the pipe and asked me to run the washer to see that the water did not back up into the sink again. Problem solved. I did pay the required $75.00 for the service. I am very disappointed that Choice sounded like it was better than other home warranty co. I realize that Choice was not concerned with getting my repair right away. I have had a home warranty on my home since I purchased it 5 years ago. I think they are just like protection plans you purchase on a home appliance. Everyone will explain how you need this so much when they are trying to sell it to you. Hoping you never need to use it...Bad first experience."

"They did the work and it was fine, but they didn't get the price right. It was really frustrating to get them to give us the correct price. I am sure my husband will call them to fix the furnace if we had another problem. They did the service in October when we had the last hurricane and they had to replace the furnace and the air-conditioner. They did some deck work with it as some of that had to be replaced. They had to build the furnace and air-conditioner up to elevate the flooding issues. They did the metal work under the furnace to elevate it. And outside for the air-conditioning unit they built a wooden platform to put it up. They did a good job when they did the work. The state was giving a rebate if you got your paper work in, but you should have it from the energy efficiency unit. So it had to be broken down by the price of the furnace, what the specifications of the furnace were, the price of air-conditioning unit and specifications to make sure it met their qualifications for the rebate. We went there 3 times before they could get it figured out, and it was just frustrating. It wasn't the quality of the work; it was the paper work that was a problem. It is hard to comment on punctuality because everybody needed the help at the same time, it wasn't in the normal circumstances. The rebate was available only till the money was gone, so we had to go in and get our paper work in electronically and once everybody put that in, it deducted the money from the pool, so it lasted from a Thursday till the Tuesday. After Tuesday if I didn't have my paper work in I wouldn't get any money. It was kind of important why the paper was needed. We have used them before, but it was just an issue of the paper work this time."

"I had the best experience, probably one of the best I have chosen to use to clean my home. "Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
