"Joe at WaterBGone is truly excellent at what he does. Joe helped us to feel informed and confident when buying our home (he came out to evaluate the foundation of our home before we purchased). Ramon performed some repair and tune up work, after we purchased, to seal up some minor leaks. Now, a year and a half later, those areas have not had a single drop of water. Joe was the first person we called when an unrelated area of our basement started leaking during heavy rains. He's timely, an expert in his field, and beyond fair in his pricing. Don't hesitate to hire this company - they are the kind of honest, trustworthy business a homeowner NEEDS in their contacts list."

"when tech showed up the dryer seemed to be working and heating however it did not when I called, seemed the heating element was cracked creating and off and on working condition. I went ahead to repair the problem by purchasing a new heating element. I was surprised however that the tech expected me to pay in full before he ordered the part and repaired the problem, but I did using my credit card knowing if there was a issue the credit card co. would have my back, The part was order and Alex fixed it as soon as it came in and was great"

"The work was done almost 2 years ago and is holding up without any issues. It was done in the timeframe promised, done professionally and the finishing was excellent. I had flooring installed and developed an issue due to the installation. Both the owner and site leader recently came out and inspected the system to ensure there was no issue with the drain (there wasn't). This type of customer service is rare these days. I am very happy I had the system installed and appreciate the professionalism I have encountered with this company from the estimate, work, finishing and follow-up. Thank you!!"

"He came right out and snaked the drain several times ensuring it was clear. He tested the line and set the toilet back on the flange. He was very professional and explained everything as he went. He cleaned everything up after completion. I would use them again. <br />"

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Emmett, MI

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
