"Mark Halpert was an absolute joy to work with. We contracted with him to remodel both of the bathrooms in our condo. From bid through completion, Mark was totally involved with his workers in completing the work. He was generally on-site at least once a day to check on progress, give guidance to his workers, and to answer any questions we might have had. Along the way, he listened to what we wanted and also made suggestions that improved the end product. As in any big job like this, we hit a few hiccups with material availability and minor changes. Mark took all of these in stride with a great degree of calmness and professionalism that enabled work to progress and maintain schedule. Most of the work was completed by Mark's workers - Braulio and Rafi. If you do contract with Mark, I would recommend you ask for these two gentlemen. They were friendly, punctual, and they always asked us for what we wanted or preferred with all of the tiny little details - such as exactly where we wanted the knobs placed on the vanity doors and drawers. In addition, they cleaned up every day - as much could be expected in a construction environment - which made our living with the on-gong work as comfortable as it could be. All in all, our experience with Halpert Construction could not have been better. I would heartily recommend Mark and his team to anyone looking to work on their homes.
