"The quality of the work was fine and the plumber was courteous. However, the amount charged for the work done was like a defense contractor billing the government. I was billed over $200 to pull the rubber dishwasher waste line hose from the air gap to the garbage disposal and have cleaned it out. Most likely cleaned with a bottle brush or a rag on a stick. Then almost $400 to pull the toilet and put it back after the flange was replaced. Thats like a mechanic charging you to take the tire on and off to fix the brakes. Then the flange repair, approximately a $12 part, was almost another $400. Total time on the job, maybe 45 minutes. These prices are shameful."
