"I called Don to fix a leaking water line from a previous fridge that had been taken out that had an ice/water maker. Don came to my appt exactly on time and he was efficient and quick for the repair. No talking on cell phone re private calls etc. It ended up being a less involved repair than originally anticipated and he did not try to upsell me or do more complicated work than was necessary so the final cost came in a bit under original phone quote which was very nice. This is an new home for me and there was another concern that came up last night that Don could not stay for to complete bc he had another appt after me to be on time for (great reliability for all his customers!) but he did take the time to explain what was needed for that future appt which was courteous. Also I am a single woman and felt completely safe having Don in my home. In an additional plus, he was friendly to my dog who I only had to put away bc heâ s a wild boy and very nosy but Don seemed that he would be comfortable around a calm dog. I would absolutely hire Don again."

"Charles came out about 1.5 hours after being called on a Sunday. He was very professional and did an excellent job of diagnosing and repairing our non-working a/c system. I never felt pressured to purchase anything that was not required. He was professional and personable and offered us tips to save money in the future. I felt he was very honest with us and when he left the a/c was working as good as new. My only complaint concerns pricing. Each customer can decide for themselves if their prices are acceptable. Specifics are...the capacitor was replaced at a cost of $214 including installation which took 15 minutes. The amazon price for the part was about $20. Two fuses were replaced at a cost of $184 and took 5 minutes to install. I am sure the amazon price was much less. 1 lb of r22 freon was added in 10 minutes at a cost of $100. The coils were hose cleaned without additional charges. Another capacitor was checked and found to be within specs and there was no charge. My total bill was $498. Charles was here about 1 hour. I thought it was high but the work definately needed to be done and they were prompt so we authorized it and paid when the work was done. Again, I feel they were honest and none of the charges were a surprise because I was told the cost before work was completed. I would use this honest, prompt, and competent contractor again. I am sure less honest repair people would have suggested work that would have cost more than I paid to have the job done right and only fix the things that really needed fixing. "I will say up front, A Campagna Company is going to be my plumber! A day ago, wife was doing the dishes and the hot water handle on the kitchen faucet broke. We had a geyser going! I try to turn the valves off under the sink, and ol' faithful calmed down, but did not completely turn off. The faucet was still leaking. I finally had to turn the water off to the house. We call another plumber here on Angie's List where we were going to use one of their offers, and he promised to come out the next day. Imagine not having water except for a quick shower or to flush a toilet. It sucks!!! Five minutes before the other plumber was to come out to give an estimate, he calls and says that he can't come out until Saturday!!! Sorry, you won't ever come out! Back to Angie's List, where I find A Campagna Company. So glad I did. Jen answered the phone. After giving her the rundown (replace faucet, both valves, and a valve in the bathroom) she eventually found a plumber to come out to at least give me a quote and possibly do the job IN AN HOUR! Yes, that's right folks, an HOUR! Impressive customer service. Fernando came out and gave me a quote for everything. It was a fair price given the circumstances, but I will admit that I had to pass on the bathroom valve for it was out of my budget right now, but I got a written estimate for later. We agreed to a price and he got to work. After about an hour and a half (amazing how he got into the small space!) he was finished. The kitchen faucet and valves were installed, he cleaned up and we were good to go. I'm really happy with the job Fernando did. I'm especially appreciative of the fact that he was at my house within an hour after I first called and no complaints! Also, the price was more than fair for what he did, (and the time that he saved me.). If you need plumbing done, look no further and go with these guys!"
