"Erik at DirtPros was a great choice...I needed to remove about 5 yards of dirt that had  too much clay in it, and he was willing to take on this small project. Reason's why I like Erik at DirtPros:
1. Easy to communicate with, either by phone, text or email. He's straight forward, no hidden costs. It's simple things like asking questions about what you want the end vision to be that are helpful to set expectations. It also helped me trust him...too often I've had contractors that you're not sure if they understood you.

3. Worked with my schedule. I work during the week, and he came out and I was able to tell him what I wanted to do over the phone.
4. Flexible. On the day we removed the dirt, I wanted to remove a little more that I thought.

"Thanks to Alex and his crew of meticulous, hardworking, artistic tradesmen of Soil and Stone Landscape my wife and I how have a beautiful, spacious, and usable yard. The front porch, back stairs, back and side yards of our house are now covered with newly installed colorful pavers and drain rock which replaced the unsightly grass areas filled with weeds and brown dirt. The old and deteriorating wood fence on the back, side and front of the property was replaced with a strong, sturdy and wind resistant wood fence. All this work was performed expeditiously and with good judgement by Alex and his workers while we were away from our home. "Excellent! They explained why I could not get grass to grow well in my backyard: once they excavated, the soil contained lots of compact clay and rock, causing seeds to drown from watering. Once we locked in a date, they knocked it out relatively quickly, and gave me instructions on how to maintain the artificial grass going forward. The cost was very reasonable in comparison to the quotes I received from other contractors, and they did not charge me for leftover artificial grass, which they could have done. I recommend J&R Rockscapes without reservation!"
