"Thirty minutes before the repair person arrived, I discovered the leak was actually coming from a drain pipe the appliance was using and NOT the appliance itself. I told the person when he arrived and he said he'd verify leak location before leaving. After that, I offered to write him the check for the service call and he actually waived the charge!! He said since it only took 15 seconds to verify it was not the appliance, I didn't need to pay. Wow!!
