"Master bath - Tear out vanity and top, flat wall mirror, toilet, shower doors, light, towel bars.  Repair and patch walls, then paint.  Laid porcelain tiles (12X24).  Suggested a staggered pattern which turned out really neat.  Replaced 1/4 round with new and painted for a clean fresh look.  Installed vanity and 2 framed mirrors.  Put up 2 new lights over mirrors, towel bar and toilet paper holder.  Installed new toilet.  Every piece has a nice line, centered, provides great quality look. <br /> Guest bath - Tear out vanity and top, flat wall mirror, light and towel bars.  Installed vanity and top, framed mirror a towel shelf and new light over mirror.   <br /> We had never remodeled, but felt comfortable with all the proceedings.  Job went very smoothly, no horror stories.  Took care to protect surroundings, no extra dings or accidents.   Very professional work, done on a timely basis. <br />"

"We needed the work done in 48 hours and Joel and his team had it done before that!  He responded via email to a weekend inquiry if he could be out on Monday to get the work done (part of a house closing) and he responded by 7:30 a.m. Sunday and was out to work at 8:00 a.m. on Monday. All work was completed by Tuesday early afternoon. He went over and above in the quality of the work too -- removed doors from hinges and windows from casements -- to really do an excellent job of painting. <br />"

"Well I can say from beginning to end the experience was just very easy and they came out even sooner than they told me on the phone. I had a refrigerator that needed brought inside that I just bought and couldn't do it myself. Well not only did they take the doors off to my house and the handles from the refrigerator, but also took a cabinet out that was blocking my ability to get the refrigerator in place as it was so much bigger than the previous one. "I called S and A Maintenance when I noticed some boards in the soffit under the roof of our old garage appeared to be rotting. We were informed that we needed a new roof which was no surprise. S and A was booked up in the fall but came out in December, replaced the rotten wood and completed the roofing job with no trouble. The roof has held up well. They also reserved some of the good boards for possible later repair of our 1905 house since boards of that size are no longer produced. I have used S and A multiple times for both small and large jobs, because I trust Dave to figure out what needs to be done on an old house and he always comes out to inspect the work afterwards. <br />"

"Casey did an incredible job and we are very happy with the result. The walls, ceiling, closet door, and window trim are now completely smooth and painted with our new colors. The walls originally had numerous nail holes and areas that needed to be smoothed out, and the ceiling originally had a dark blue color along with numerous areas that also needed to be smoothed out. I thought that the blue ceiling may be a challenge to cover up, but this was not an issue for Casey and we are now happy with a fresh white ceiling and gray walls which really helps to brighten up the room. Casey left the room very clean, and made sure to clean up all of the dust."

"<p>Mike showed up on time and completed the work in the time frame I would expect.  He was careful to try to keep dust contained to the kitchen and put down protective coverings on the floor leading in from the front door.</p> <p>Later when I was painting I noticed some seams that weren't covered real well and other areas where excessive mud was not sanded down even with the surrounding areas.  It wasn't bad enough to call Mike back to fix (he said he would come back and fix anything we weren't happy with), but I was expecting better quality  from someone who does this for a living.</p> <p>There were two things that were unacceptable.  One is that when cutting holes for the electrical outlets he roto-zipped all of the tabs off the receptacles and switches.  The other is that about a year later we removed a wall between the kitchen and living room and found the wall was stuffed full of all the drywall scraps.  Not only did I have to clean all of that out, but there was a considerable amount of weight sitting on top of the electrical wires in the wall.</p> <br />"
