"Kyle, the owner, was responsive to my inquiry and came out to do the estimate. I explained what we hoped to do and what our minimum we needed to have done and that we would decide based on the cost. Kyle created an estimate that was broken down into parts so that we could pick and choose what we wanted done. Work was started within a couple of weeks and completed in 2 days. I was happy with his staff and the work performed. The problem we had was afterward. After several days of rain, a section of the yard settled, including the rock wall. It was evident that the yard was not tamped well enough. I emailed Kyle and he agreed to come back out and fix the wall/yard where it settled. We decided to wait until the spring (original work was done in fall of 2017) in case there was more settling. In April I reached out to Kyle and he agreed to come out and take a look. I also informed him that the yard had settled more and it had created a low point where water was draining under the sidewalk and eroding the ground in that area. I have heard nothing from Kyle since then. I have since emailed him again and called him with no response. I was happy with the work overall, but not happy with the lack of follow through and communication. I have been waiting to write this review until the work has been completed, but now I'm unsure it that'll every happen."

"Professionalism every step of the way; from the initial estimate, to installation and follow up. Marvin Padilla explained every possible layout and option and really took the time to listen to our design. No high-pressure sales tactics, just quality, friendly proposal. We hired them to do a front garden retaining wall and a patio in the back. Day of installation the crew of 6 show up and hit the ground running; took them 1 1/2 days to complete both jobs and we couldn't be happier with the results. We've already gotten lots of compliments from neighbors who are now interested in their work. If I'm ever in need again of stonework or landscaping services, I'm not looking anywhere else!"

"These guys were absolutely phenomenal! They installed a retaining wall for me. They took one photo of what I said I wanted and tailored it without any effort on my part to install a retaining wall that is exactly like the photo I gave them. They scheduled me in almost immediately. The job was done in less than a week. They did what I asked for, quick turn around, and left the site better than they found it. Thank you!!!!!"

"At first, I was happy with the customer service, very responsive, Great price for job and scheduling was not too bad. The total project took about 3-4 days due to some weather issues and machinery problems. I was expecting more of a 2-3 day turn around. That did not bother me as much as the random holes that popped up after the concrete started to dry. Owner stated that it was due to the delay pack they threw in the concrete to slow down the drying stage so they could pour and shape the area since it was so large. I get that and have heard of this process but when the holes started to show they are the size of quarters and have a rust brown stain around the edge of the hole. I called to get it fixed - waited about two weeks for repair and was told it would look brand new- the holes are still very visible with the rust stain around it and the resin used to fill the holes are a different shade color than the concrete. We are very disappointed since we spent so much money on this project not even to be able to enjoy it for one day of it being perfect. On a positive note- if you want to use this company for landscaping needs I think you are fine. The mulch and replanted grass seed that was placed around the project are beautiful."

"SBC did great hardscape work for our neighbors, so we called them when it was time for us to have some work done. They responded quickly and provided a quote to replace a failing retaining wall and gave us options to rehab 2 patio areas full of rotting boards. As part of the work on the retaining wall, it became evident that our porch was a safety hazard and needed to be replaced. SBC immediately shored up the porch, and Steve worked with us to re-do the designs and reallocate materials to rebuild our porch, rehab the patios and keep the costs reasonable, including going the extra mile to get certified so that we could maintain the warrant on our roof. We now have a wonderful, maintenance-free outdoor space. We have a number of other outside projects, and SBC will be our first call."

"Oscar and his staff were outstanding from start to finish. We signed a contract and expected to start in several weeks. Several days before construction of our wall started Oscar called to let us know construction would start on the upcoming Monday morning. Monday morning Oscar personally showed up, delivery of the stone occurred. Oscar kept in touch throughout the process. His staff we craftsman and did a high quality job. I highly recommend Oscar and Solid Brick contracting."

"very good. Guys punctual. Did an OK job cleaning up behind themselves. We had to call to find out when they'd be available to start the job. Once we got that organized, things began to move. Pretty neat process for stamped concrete."
